OCS Journey to CERT 2014 OCS was tasked to set up a CERT (Rapid Response Team) response in NUS Choose between In-housed CERT, Contractors, Hybrid Models June 2015, OCS operationalize Rapid Response Team (RRT) for after office response August 2015, OCS runs RRT 24/7 15
OCS RRT Set Up 4 teams of 2 officers per shift / based on 8 hour shift Stationed at Security Posts and zones with higher risk laboratories Officers are required to undergo stringent medical screening 3 days CERT training, 1 week Orientation Training, 3 days OJT Class 2B, Fire fighting experience, PLRD License 16

HAZMAT Currently Hazmat are done by Office of Facilities Management (OFM) Chemical fires are only tackled from a distance OCS role for Hazmat is to setup perimeter cordon and rendezvous with SDCF 28
