Introduction With your new Hairy Bikers Ceramic Health Grill you will now be able to cook a delicious healthy range of foods such as meat, vegetables, fish and poultry. Whilst cooking your food, excess fat drains away from the food into the two drainage channels either side of the bottom plate and collects in the two drip trays thus reducing the fat content of the food and is therefore a great healthy way of cooking. Description of parts Power on light Hinged Lid Ready to cook light Supply cord Right hand drip tray Left hand drip tray Handle Curved ceramic upper plate Excess fat outlet Excess fat outlet Infuser channel Curved ceramic lower plate

Before the first time you use your Ceramic Health Grill Please read these operating instructions thoroughly and keep them in a safe place for future reference. Remove all packing materials including in between the plates inside the grill. Before using the grill for the first time, open the grill and wipe over both plates using a soft, clean damp cloth. Instructions for use Place the grill on a solid, level, non - flammable surface. Insert the mains plug (with dry hands) into the mains socket. The red power light will illuminate and the grill will begin to heat the ceramic plates. Once the plates are at the correct cooking temperature the green ready to cook light will illuminate as well as the power light. The grill is now ready to cook your food. Using gloves raise the lid of the grill by the handle until it is in the upright position. NB during cooking, the green ready to cook light will cycle on and off to show that the temperature is being maintained at the correct cooking temperature.

Place the food to be cooked onto the ceramic plates and close the lid. NB the lid adjusts and allows for the height of the food placed in the grill and so maintains even contact with the food for best results: The picture left shows how the lid lifts when it is closed to allow for the height of the food. This enables the grill to cook all the food evenly on both sides. As the food cooks any excessive fat produced will drain away due to the curved nature of the cooking plates and exit through the outlet holes on either side and into the two drip trays. Thus the grill will produce tasty healthy cooked food. The drip trays must be emptied and cleaned after cooking. The infusion channel If desired before cooking sprinkle herbs, dry spices or pour a little wine or other flavouring into the infusion channel around the outside of the bottom plate. This will infuse/smoke these flavours into the food during cooking: Cleaning your Ceramic Health Grill Always unplug the grill from the mains power supply before cleaning. Allow the unit to cool before cleaning. Do not clean any part of your health grill in a dishwasher. Do not submerge any part of the main body or mains cable in water or any other liquids. Wipe excess oil from the plates, drip trays and infusion channel with kitchen roll or similar. Wipe clean the outside of the main body and the ceramic plates with a soft damp cloth. Wash the drip trays in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly afterwards. Never clean any part of the health grill with harsh or abrasive cleaners.
