Warning: Surfaces are hot, never touch the cooking surface directly with your fingers. 3. If your recipe calls for a lid, cut the pastry with the smaller side of the pastry cutter and set in place 5. Close the Pie Maker lid and press the locking mechanism until it clicks. This will seal the pie lid to the base. 6. Set a timer for the specified time as indicated in your recipe, the green indicator will cycle on and off during the cooking process indicating a steady temperature is being maintained. 7. When the cooking time is complete unplug the Pie Maker from the wall socket. Pull the locking mechanism up from the bottom and slowly lift the lid 8.
