TM LEED Contributions We are a proud member of the US Green Building Council, and are committed to providing products that can contribute to sustainable projects. Our permeable pavers can contribute toward LEED credits through the following guidelines: MR Credit 4.1 Recycled Content (1 point) Use materials with recycled content such that the sum of post-consumer recycled content plus half of the pre-consumer content constitutes 10% of total value of the materials in the project. MR Credit 4.2 Recycled Content (Credit 4.1, + 1 point) 20% (post-consumer and ½ pre-consumer). MR Credit 5.1 Regional Materials (1 point) Use products that have been extracted, harvested or recovered, as well as manufactured within 500 miles of the project site for a minimum of 10% of the cost. MR Credit 5.2 Regional Materials (Credit 5.1, plus 1 point) 20% extracted, processed and manufactured regionally. SS Credit 6.1 Storm Water Design: Quality Control (1 point) Storm water management of a building site where the existing impervious area is greater than 50% and the runoff rate and quantity is reduced by at least 25%. NewLine s permeable concrete paving stone systems can reduce runoff to zero for the most frequent storms. SS Credit 6.2 Storm Water Design: Quality Control (1 point) A treatment system designed to remove 80% of the average annual post-development Total Suspended Solids (TSS) and 40% of the average annual post-development Total Phosphorus (TP). SS Credit 7 Heat Island Effect (1 point) Non-roof landscape and exterior designs that reduce heat island effect would entail the use of light colored/ high albedo materials with a reflectance of at least.3 for 30% of the site s non-roof impervious surfaces, i.e., pavements Manufacturing permeable concrete paving stones in light or natural colors that can register an albedo of at least.3 will meet this requirement.

Permeable Paver Construction Permeable Interlocking Concrete Paver (PICP) systems address many stormwater management concerns, aiding in reducing stormwater runoff as well as addressing water quality -- by effectively "filtering" runoff contaminants. We provide a collection of permeable pavers in several styles and finishes (see next page), to better meet your design needs. Benefits of permeable paver construction: Reduces runoff up to 100%, depending on project design. Reduces the impact on existing stormwater systems by reducing peak discharges. Maximizes groundwater recharge; improves water quality. Allows for retention and storage of stormwater for possible reuse for irrigation or other non-potable applications. Reduces non-point-source pollutants in stormwater, thereby mitigating impact on surrounding surface waters. Augments land-use planning, leading to more efficient use of available land. Critical in high-density urban areas. Can eliminate or reduce the need for above ground storage ponds or collection basins, improving site aesthetics. May lessen or eliminate downstream flooding and stream bank erosion. Can decrease project cost by reducing/eliminating drainage and retention systems. May reduce cost of compliance with stormwater regulatory requirements and lower utility stormwater fees. TM Permeable Paver Products Most of our permeable paving systems can accommodate a minimum of 100" of rain per hour surface infiltration, are manufactured with built-in spacers to ensure proper joint width, are 3 1/8" high- accommodating commercial applications, and feature through-the-body color on colored units. NewLine products are backed with a Limited Lifetime Warranty. ALLEYWAY COBBLE Dimensions (in.) Sq. Ft. Per Pallet Pavers Per Pallet 4-piece system 88 336 5 x 5 x 3 1/8 --- 56 5 x 7 x 3 1/8 --- 112 5 x 8 x 3 1/8 --- 112 5 x 9 x 3 1/8 --- 56 Alleyway Cobble gives you the appearance of an old cobbled paver, yet provides the performance and ease of installation of a contemporary product. This 4-piece system is crafted with a natural stonecleft finish and rounded edge for the look and feel of time-worn quarried stone. Choose this product in either a standard or tumbled finish. Coastal Tan Granite Alleyway Cobble is stocked in the colors shown above. Other colors are available by special order. 4

TM AQUA-FLO Sq. Ft. Pavers Dimensions (in.) Per Pallet Per Pallet 4 3/4 x 9 1/2 x 3 1/8 100 320 Aqua-Flo is a traditional permeable paver unit, featuring a 5"x10" profile. This simple rectangular paver provides for a multitude of laying patterns such as running bond, herringbone, basketweave or even stack bond. Coastal Tan Granite Aqua-Flo is stocked in the colors shown above. Other colors are available by special order. 5

TM ENVIRO-FLO Sq. Ft. Pavers Dimensions (in.) Per Pallet Per Pallet 6 x 9 x 3 1/8 120 300 Coastal Tan Granite Enviro-Flo is a traditional 6x9 permeable paver that is available in chamfered and tumbled finishes. It is both visually attractive and pedestrian friendly. Because of its rectangular shape, such structurally sound patterns as herringbone can be used which are important for vehicular traffic. Enviro-Flo is stocked in the colors shown above. Other colors are available by special order. 6

TM TM OCTA-FLO TURFSTONE Sq. Ft. Pavers Dimensions (in.) Per Pallet Per Pallet 6 1/4 x 6 1/4 x 2 3/8 114 420 Octa-Flo is available by special order only. Octa-Flo is octagon-shaped paver that delivers a different look than a typical rectangular or even square paver. The octagonal shape, when laid, provides a diamond-shaped pattern between the paver units. This provides for an increased level of permeability, making it a great application for parking lots, municipal facilities and other large expanses. And it looks great on driveways too! Sq. Ft. Pavers Dimensions (in.) Per Pallet Per Pallet 16 x 16 x 3 1/8 106 60 Turfstone is stocked in Pewter only. Other colors are available by special order. Pewter Turfstone is a thick, square slab with open grids that allows water to permeate through the system. Turfstone can be used for overflow parking, fire lanes, erosion control and parking lots. The open voids can be filled with drainage aggregate for maximum infiltration, or also can be filled with soil to allow for greenery to grow. NOTE: Soil & turf will reduce the permeability of the system but will enhance the overall look and appearance. 7

CHESAPEAKE BAY FOUNDATION Saving a National Treasure With environmental stress and increased development, natural water filtration provided by the soil is diminishing. In turn, increasing amounts of storm water runoff - mixed with motor oil, fertilizers and other contaminants - are polluting lakes, rivers, coastlines, groundwater and, of course, our own Chesapeake Bay. We believe that more should be done to preserve this vital watershed. We donate a percentage of our proceeds to CBF for every square foot of our Permeable Pavers that are manufactured and sold for residential or commercial projects. Our mission at NewLine is to give back to the Bay because we truly care about this wonderful resource.
