2. Description The FWSS is a comprehensive heating system solution which is hydraulic and electric ready-for-connection. A heating source independent layered buffer tank, patented hygienic hot water generation and integrated high- and lowtemperature heating circuit groups all combined in one aligned system. 3. Warning notices The FWSS does not have a corrosion protection and may only be used in closed heating systems as layered buffer tank. Installation and operation must be performed according to regional regulations and common practice. Installation, maintenance and cleaning must be conducted by a qualifi ed professional. Any unauthorized alteration or change is forbidden due to security reasons and inevitably leads to the loss of any guarantee. The max. operating pressures on the type plate must not be exceeded! At the occurrence of malfunctions regardless of nature please contact your installer for heating systems. Please do not perform any unauthorized repairing, it is forbidden and can lead to unexpected dangers. 4. Design of the Fresh Water Station The depicted picture is symbolic and can marginally differ from your FWSS! 4 Manual Buffer Tank 1000 V7-RH. E & OE, subject to change without notice.

7. Installation and initiation Before you install your FWSS, please pay attention to the following points: Read all chapters and especially the warning notices in chapter 3. The operation of this device is not allowed to persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or intellectual abilities. Uninformed or unacquainted persons may operate the device only under the supervision or at the trained person s disposition. Installation and operation must be performed according to regional regulations and laws. 7.1 Installation The setting up and installation must be carried out by an approved professional crafts enterprise. It is also responsible for a proper installation and initiation. As a location for installation the device requires a frost-free room which has enough room for maintenance. The FWSS needs to be installed splash-proof and may only be operated at room temperatures under 40 C. 7.2 Positioning of buffer tank Before installing the FWSS, make sure that the fl oor has an adequate bearing strength. There should be at least 10 cm space between wall and FWSS. 7.3 Mounting of insulation Take care that the insulation is mounted according to requirements; otherwise increased heat loss can occur. Step 1 Step 2 Position insulation front part on the connections and place it on the tank Position insulation rear part at the 1 ½ connections and place it on the tank Connect rear and front insulations with the fi rst snap-fi t on the insulations Completely connect the snap-fi ts on the opposite side Also completely connect the fi rst connection Step 3 Step 4 Place covering strips on the insulation Place fl exible foam ring into the upper opening and cover it with the thermoformed top cover Fix the foam rosettes onto the 1 ½ connections Plug the insulation caps into the 1 ½ connections Fix plastic rosettes on tank 8 Manual Buffer Tank 1000 V7-RH. E & OE, subject to change without notice.
7.4 Initiation The initiation must be carried out by an approved professional crafts enterprise. During the initiation process the unproblematic operation and leak-tightness of the whole installation, including the preinstalled connections, has to be tested. The fi lling and rinsing process has to be continued until the system is completely de-aerated. The buffer tank must not exceed a operating temperature above 95 C. 8. Technical data Model 1000 Net capacity 890 Liter Diameter insulated 994 mm Diameter non-insulated 790 mm Height insulated 2110 mm Height non-insulated 2040 mm Weight 180 Admissible operating temperature heating 95 C Admissible operating pressure 3 bar Admissible operating temperature solar loop 110 C Admissible pressure solar loop 10 bar Heating surface area solar heat exchange 3 m 2 Volume solar heat exchanger 19,8 Manual Buffer Tank 1000 V7-RH.
