Thermal Management Guidelines The Cree LMH2 module family is designed to perform in a variety of environments without the need for active cooling. To achieve lifetime and performance estimates, and to maintain the warranty, the final luminaire design cannot allow the Tc point shown on page 2 to exceed 7 C for the light source when the luminaire is at thermal equilibrium. Follow the mechanical and thermal design guidelines listed in the Cree LMH2 LED Module Design Guide to ensure proper thermal management. The optional heat sinks shown below are available. Note: Refer to the LMH2 Design Guide for more information on choosing the appropriate heat sink for a given application. optional Heat Sink 1 1 optional Heat Sink 2 order code LMH2-HS--1 order code LMH2-HS--2 87.2 11 4 55 For use with LMH2 85, 125, 2, 3 & LMH2+ 125, 2, 3 For use with LMH2 85, 125, 2, 3, 4 & LMH2+ 125, 2, 3 optional Heat Sink 3 optional Heat Sink 4 order code LMH2-HS--61 order code LMH2-HS--81 138 153 1 1 For use with LMH2 85, 125, 2, 3, 4, 6 & LMH2+ 125, 2, 3 For use with LMH2 85, 125, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8 & LMH2+ 125, 2, 3 1 Dimensions for the diagrams are in mm and are for reference only.
