Visitor Guide Franciscan St. Francis Health embraces open visitation time for patients and loved ones. Receiving visitors is an integral part of the healing process and helps promote the patient s well-being. MOORESVILLE The Surgery Waiting Area The Surgery Waiting Area is located near the hospital main entrance across from the registration desk. Several sitting areas are in the lobby of the hospital where your family can wait during your surgery. The Surgery receptionist will be able to direct your family to the restrooms, cafeteria, coffee shop and eventually your room. The surgeon will speak to your family privately after your surgery in a consultation room. Amenities Cafeteria Gift shop Chapel Internet access The hospital provides free wireless Internet access. Visitors may bring their own laptop computers, PDAs or other WiFi-capable devices and connect to GuestNet. As with most public hotspots, GuestNet is unsecured and requires you to take measures to protect your computer and personal data. A public computer is available on the second floor of the hospital. Special visiting privileges are given to the spouse or a designated family member. Be considerate and refrain from visiting at very early or very late hours. Wear appropriate attire. Shirts and shoes are required. Sit in the chairs provided, not on the bed. Refrain from visiting when infected with a contagious illness.
