HOME DESIGN The Giorgetti condominium luxury experience Giorgetti, the venerable 118-year-old Italian furniture maker, is embarking on a project that is unique in its field a luxury condominium under the company s own brand name. The boutique mid-rise will be built in the Upper Kirby district, a lively and elegant setting known for its art galleries, boutiques and restaurants. Giorgetti Houston is a collaboration with Mirador Group, a Houston-based firm specializing in architecture and interior design; Sudhoff Companies, a leader in property sales, marketing and consulting; and Stolz Partners, a veteran Georgia-based real estate development and investment venture. HOME DESIGN Ceilings will range in height from 10 to 12 feet, with balconies from 500 to 2,000 square feet. Giorgetti will create a complete residential environment from the kitchen and outdoor cabinetry to paneling, lighting, carpets, closets, woodwork and furnishings. Most of Giorgetti s designers are actual architects, who create bespoke products known for their clever mix of styles and high-quality craftsmanship. The company has collaborated on impressive projects including hotels, yachts, celebrity residences and royal palaces. These collaborations include the $24 million penthouse at New York s Plaza Hotel, the Shangri-La Hotel in Toronto, Fontainebleau Chateau Suites in Miami, Four Seasons Residences in Austin, Torch Doha and The Reverie Saigon in Ho Chi Minh. Branded projects by Armani/Casa, Versace, Porsche, Baccarat, and Bulgari have been created, but this groundbreaking project marks Giorgetti s first totally luxury-branded real estate project, said Jacob Sudhoff, CEO of Sudhoff Companies.
