Please see that the loading area is cleared of all vehicles, snow, ice, etc. prior to arrival. Technical Set Up: 4-5 hours before performance. Strike: performance Duration: 2 hours, after the Note: Touring members participate in the setup and strike. 1 light board operator 1 sound board operator (optional) The Kamikaze Fireflies Stage Requirements Width: 25 min. Height: 18 min. Depth: 20 min. The entire stage floor must be even and free of imperfections. If the floor isn t adequate the presenter must provide a Marley. The wing space and backstage areas must be free of any obstruction and broom swept regularly. The stage floor must be mopped prior to curtain. Props Prop tables with adequate light (blue lights) SL and SR Tape (spike tape and masking tape) to label and organize prop tables Costume racks SL and SR Eight bottles of water (4 SL, 4 SR) Catering For the comfort of the artist and crew, the PRESENTER will provide a light catering service of coffee, soft drinks, salads, fruits, vegetables and meats. Must be gluten free. Should there be less than three hours between shows PRESENTER will provide more substantial catering of hot dishes. All glasses, plates, napkins, and flatware to also be provided. Must be gluten free. Dressing Rooms 6
1 dressing room 1 production office These dressing rooms must be equipped with showers, toilets, sinks, mirrors, make-up tables, costume racks as well as a steamer, iron and ironing board, and a washer and dryers. All facilities must be separate from the public. Dressing rooms should be cleaned prior to the Company s arrival, lighted sufficiently for applying make-up and be equipped with tissues and cloth towels. The Kamikaze Fireflies Wardrobe The Kamikaze Fireflies need exclusive use of a washer and dryer on two show days. For runs of five or more shows a wardrobe supervisor will be needed for washing, pressing, and repair. Dry cleaning will also be needed. Costumes should always be ready two hours before showtime. Production Office The artists require access to an office with a copier and Internet connection (Wi-Fi is preferred). Rehearsal The artists need access to the stage and dressing rooms 4 hours before the show to rehearse and warm-up. Lights and sound required. Security The PRESENTER must ensure that the theater is secure and that all the artist s equipment, props, and personal possessions are 7
safe and attended for during the run of the production. The PRESENTER will be responsible for any loss, damage, or theft which may occur. Maintenance The PRESENTER must ensure the cleaning and daily maintenance of the stage. Temperature The PRESENTER must maintain an adequate temperature range for the stage, dressing rooms, and other areas during the production. A space heater in the dressing room is preferred. The Kamikaze Fireflies Local Information A list of restaurants near the hotel and theater should be provided. A list of medical services and their numbers should be provided. Parking The PRESENTER must be able to provide a safe and guarded parking space within a reasonable distance of the performance. This Technical Rider constitutes and integral part of the contractual agreement between the PRESENTER and the artists. Any modification of this technical rider must be negotiated with the artist or the artist s representation. A signed and 8
