Carbon footprinting, recycling efforts, and other sustainability initiatives can impact enrollment decisions. Most Allsteel products are level certified (to the e3 Furniture Sustainability Standard), SCS Indoor Advantage Gold certified (for better air quality), can contribute toward LEED certification, and meet the Healthy Interiors Goal of the Healthier Hospitals Safer Chemicals Challenge, version 2.0. Many Allsteel products are designed for 24/7 use and all of our products feature a lifetime warranty. All of our products contain recycled content in varying amounts, sometimes more than what is required by LEED. Our products are tested and certified for low indoor air emissions, which will contribute to a healthier indoor environment. A majority of our products are manufactured in Muscatine, IA. We can accommodate shipping by rail, which typically has fewer environmental impacts than shipping by truck. Free-address work areas with Allsteel s products can contribute to the WELL Building Standard. Many of our products containing wood are available as FSC Certified at no extra cost.
