Your fireplace will automatically adjust the heat output and flame height based on the temperature you selected on the thermostat setting. The flame will modulate to attain the set temperature, thus conserving fuel and maximizing heating ability to extend the viewing pleasure of the fire. If the desired room temperature is exceeded the flame will turn off. Since the fireplace has gradually decreased the fire and internal firebox temperature, your convection fan will now run for a shorter period of time after the fire has gone off which will save energy. Power Heat Duct Kit This optional venting configuration delivers heat to an upstairs, downstairs or adjoining room within 20 feet of the fireplace. The Hearthview TRV and Hearthview ST can utilize one Power Heat Duct Kit sending heat to an additional room in your home. The Bostonian HO and the Hearthview HO have the option of adding up to two Power Heat Duct Kits. The 21 TRV Portrait-Style fireplace and Bostonian SS do not use the Power Heat Duct Kit. 4
GREEN 2 SMAR TM The patent-pending GreenSmart 2 System is the most innovative collection of components, controls and technology that provide an elegant, smarter and greener way to heat your home. Standard GreenSmart 2 features include: Accent Light, Comfort Control burner, GreenSmart pilot and LED control panel lights. On other models it drops-down both provide easy access if control adjustments are desired. Highly Visible Dashboard The GreenSmart 2 basic controls of the unit are located on a black dashboard behind the concealment door. All controls are clearly labeled with white silk-screened lettering for easy reading. Control Panel Lighting When the concealment door is opened, control panel lighting is automatically turned on to make viewing controls on the dashboard easy, even in a low light environment.
GreenSmart Split-Flow Burners Lopi burners are all two-stage, allowing a portion of the burner to be turned on and off with the Comfort Control feature. Your fireplace will be equipped with either the Dancing-Fyre, Ember-Fyre or Diamond-Fyre burner. Hearthview TRV Hearthview HO Bostonian HO Dancing-Fyre Burner: This burner is found in the Bostonian SS, Hearthview TRV and Hearthview ST fireplaces. Diamond-Fyre and Diamond-Fyre II Burner: The Diamond-Fyre burner is found in the Bostonian Diamond-Fyre model. It features an under-lit crushed glass bed. These two models have the option of the Fyre-Stone Rock Kit or the Driftwood Fyre-Art with glass floor. Comfort Control Features: With the push of a button your Comfort Control will turn off the rear burner (sides on the Bostonian Diamond-Fyre ) while leaving the front burner on for an attractive flame appearance when heat output is not the priority. This feature delivers a turn-down ratio of up to 72 percent! Fireback Selections The Bostonian SS, Hearthview TRV and Hearthview ST fireplaces come standard with black painted interiors. You have the option to further personalize your fireplace with one of our designer fireback interiors. Firebacks are required on the Bostonian HO and Hearthview HO fireplaces. You can use any fireback with the Ember- Fyre burner. If using the Diamond-Fyre burner, only use one of the metal fireback liners. The Dancing-Fyre burner comes with a black painted liner. Children like most of us are fascinated by fire, and for families with young children fireplaces pose a potential safety hazard. Take the time to educate young children about the dangers of fire and the hot surface temperatures of glass and metal surrounding the fireplace.
