Flame retardant Protectivewear fabrics by Klopman International

Innovation in flame retardant protectivewear fabrics A wide range of and cotton rich fabrics with FR treatment Brand segments and performance profile Protection - Industrial workers exposed to heat and flame - Welders and workers in allied processes - Firefighters Oeko-Tex 100 class 2 certification Designed to withstand repeated industrial laundering Ideal combination of protection, comfort and performance A primary factor determining fabric choice for FR garments is conformity to EN norms. However there are also increasing demands for even-higher standards of fabric strength and appearance, FR performance, wearer comfort and long-term durability. Flamesafe is an extensive range of and cotton-rich FR fabrics offering advanced levels of performance. This has been achieved by exploiting the advantages of Klopman s continuous processing technology with the intergration of the most up-to-date FR finishing plant. Wearer comfort and acceptability are achieved by the fabrics soft hand and cotton s natural breathability and absorption, qualities which are unaffected by the FR finishing. The sophistication of this proven FR finishing technology effectively locks-in the FR treatment for the working life of the garment an important advantage that can add vital seconds of protection to the wearer in the event of exposure to flames or flash fire. The superior characteristics of the finish, together with the fabrics inherent strength, resistance to abrasion and tear plus their ability to withstand regular high temperature laundering, combine to contribute to the all-round durability and performance of garments made in Flamesafe fabrics. Special dye formulae have been developed to ensure that Flamesafe fabrics have exceptional strength of colour, consistency of shade and colour fastness.
