FX ALL FX ALL CONTAINER, ENGINE/APU FIRE EXTINGUISHER - REMOVAL/INSTALLATION 1.General A.This procedure has the removal and installation instructions for the engine and auxiliary power unit fire extinguisher containers. B.The removal and installation instructions are the same for the fire extinguisher containers from the two manufacture's. Except as noted C.Two fire extinguisher containers are installed on the front spar of each wing near the No. 1 and No. 3 engines. These fire extinguisher containers supply fire agent to wing and pylon area. Also, there are two fire extinguisher containers installed in the aft fuselage. These fire extinguisher containers supply fire agent to the auxiliary power unit and the No. 2 engine. D. E.The fire extinguisher containers can not be filled on the aircraft. Replace an empty fire extinguisher container with a full fire extinguisher container. F.Unless different instructions are given these procedures are the same for all engine/auxiliary power unit fire extinguisher containers.
