1 Description and key features 1.1 Description The Cryovac BL60 is a semi-automatic machine for high speed loading of small to medium sized food products into Cryovac taped bags. Although designed primarily for cheese it has been used successfully for other products such as terrines and soft moulded foods. Custom made loading chutes are designed for each application to suit individual product characteristics. The machine is built on a strong, stainless steel, box section frame. All the working parts are mounted on an anodized aluminium plate and are covered by fixed steel panels at the rear and transparent interlocked polycarbonate guards on the front. Control is achieved by means of a PLC and motive power is provided by pneumatic cylinders and motors. The control panel is clearly visible from the front and is complemented by a remote control box which can be located near the operator. Construction is simple and robust. All critical parts are treated against the corrosive environment often found in food production and packaging rooms. Designed with ergonomics safety and hygiene in mind it is easy to use and clean, simple to maintain and meets all relevant European legislation for safety and hygiene. 1.2 Key features Semi-automatic bag loader requiring just one operator Machine achieves up to 20 products/min Bag table tilts to facilitate easy setting up Versatility.
