UNIT DESCRIPTION 6 Unit Description Use and working conditions MANDÍK air handling units of M series (square cross section) and P series (rectangular cross section) are intended for distribution and conditioning of air in heating, ventilation and air-conditioning systems. Mechanical impurities and gaseous foreign matters, which could cause clogging of built-in elements or corrosion of materials the unit is made from must be separated from the air handled by the unit. The units are designed for non-explosive environment with temperatures around the unit from 30 C to +40 C. Air handling unit variants The Mandík air handling units can be designed in various versions. It is possible to select surface finish of the internal and external side of the panels (galvanized steel sheet, stainless steel sheet and powder coated panels). Powder coating is performed in own powder paint shop and brings great advantage of corrosion protection of shear surfaces of the steel sheet after cutting. Indoor version of the unit sections is designed for installation in closed machine rooms. Outdoor version of the unit sections is designed for installation in outdoor room. The units can also be designed in hygienic version. The Mandík air handling units of hygienic version have been certified by the National Institute of Public Health. Air handling units Mandík can be designed in different energy efficiency classes and marked with official label of RLT-association, determining the energy efficiency class. Air handling unit parameters according to Eurovent 7 Mandík Air handling units were tested in TÜV Süd Munich and certified by Eurovent. Designing program for Air handling units Mandík is called AHUman. AHUman was certified as approved tool as well. Certified parameters of Mandík s modular Air handling units are: D1, L1, F9, TB2, T3. Counter-flow heat exchanger section That is why the company processes and strategy are implemented so that we are able to offer custom-made unit immediately. Thus, individual internal modules can be put together with other modules to make a compact unit, and section length can be changed without substantial increase of price for atypical design and extension of delivery dates. Thanks to unique firm know-how we can also offer atypical front cross section of the air handling unit.

14 COMPACT AIR HANDLING UNIT MANDÍK Compact Air Handling Unit Mandík Compact air handling units MANDÍK are intended for air ventilation systems in residential and non-residential buildings. The units are equipped with heat recovery exchanger, air heater and also possibility for mixing of exhaust/fresh air. The air temperature might be adjusted by mixing (recirculating) damper. The range consists of the units with air volume from the size 500 m 3 /h up to size 6800 m 3 /h. The compact units are fabricated in plug & play design, including fully automatic control system.
