This instruction document consists of 2 parts : one part about the assembly of the components and one part about configuration and starting-up of the system. The assembly is done by the qualified installer of the water leak detection. The configuration and starting up is done by the building manager. This wall-mount leak detection alarm system with 7-inch touch screen can be used in combination with all the different TraceTek leak detection cables or point sensors. Up to 4 different circuits can be linked to this central unit with a maximum cable length of 150 meter or 10 point sensors. As soon as a leak occurs, the module provides an audible alarm and the specific details of the alarm and the location of the leak can be read on the TFT Touch screen. Alternatively, it is possible to send out an e-mail message or a SNMP trap after an alarm or any other event in the central. Using the TFT Touch screen alarms can be accepted and a summary of past alarms can be consulted. It is also possible to request a site plan with an outline of the different leak detection circuits. The unit also includes 5 separate voltage free relay contacts which can be freely programmed per circuit to indicate a leak alert or a system fault. The can easily be integrated into any BMS system by reading the relay contacts or via the ModBus TCP / IP or ModBus RTU registers, which come by default with the module. There is also a web application: here all system parameters and configuration settings can be performed and all current values of the different circuits can be consulted. The kit which you received must contain the following elements : An electronic module with built-in webserver and touch screen Instructions for installation If the kit is not complete, please contact your supplier as soon as possible. Remove the module from its packaging. Install the appropriate union fittings (not included) in the provided cut out holes. Position the housing against the wall. 1. Connections 1.1. Connection of the leak detection cable or the detection probes Connect the yellow wire of the leak detection cable with terminal Y Connect the black wire of the leak detection cable with terminal B Connect the red wire of the leak detection cable with terminal R Connect the green wire of the leak detection cable with terminal G Repeat these steps for the 3 other circuits. In case a circuit remains unused, place a jumper wire between terminal Y and B, and between terminal R and G. 1.2. Cable length: This is the total length of the leak detection cable linked to this circuit. Leak Status: This is the actual status of the circuit. Map: Click Map to consult the site plan of this circuit. Status Aqua-Remote Here you can find the status of the Inputs and the Outputs of the Aqua-Remote module. Inputs: These boxes turn green when the input gets activated. If the input has been configured as an alarm input, the box will turn red. Outputs : These boxes turn green when the output gets activated. Mute buzzer If the activates an alarm, an audible alarm will sound simultaneously. If you want to turn off this alarm, click this button Mute buzzer. 3.1. Alarm As soon as the spots a water leak, this will be shown on the screen : a red banner with white inscription!!! ALARM!!! appears and the details of the alarm show up (also in red). Leak status Water leak alarms can be split up into 3 levels of priority, i.e. : Leak Urgent leak Very urgent leak At configuration, these different levels of priority can be adjusted per zone of the detection cable. Leak location: This indicates the location of the leak on the detection cable. Alarm time: This indicates the point of time when the alarm occurred. ACK: Each alarm needs to be acknowledged by the user, by clicking on the red ACK button. Upon acknowledgment, the alarm details will be shown in blue. Once an alarm has been accepted, the can be reset if the alarm is no longer active. Alarm Status On the page Alarm status, the entire history file of the alarms and corresponding comments can be retrieved. Simply select the start and end dates for the history file and click on generate. All alarms that have occurred during the selected period will be displayed. On this page, the user can still add a comment to an alarm. Another option is to synchronize the time with the computer time: for this just click on the Sync with PC button. The module can function as a ModBus slave or a ModBus master on the RSS485 communication port. The 4 circuits can be adjusted separately, click on the circuit that needs to be configured: Configuration circuit Name: Fill in the name of the leak detection circuit. Map Upload: Here you have the possibility to upload an outlined map of the leak detection circuit (in PDF format). Auto reset: After acknowledging an alarm, it is possible to have an automatic reset of the system when the alarm situation has been resolved. This option can be enabled or disabled. Service level: Here you can adjust the alarm level : the higher the set value, the lower the sensitivity of the detection cable. At a value of 10, the alarm will already be activated with a minor contamination of the detection cable. At a value of 100 the alarm will only be activated when the detection cable is immersed in water. Re-Alarm: It is possible to have the alarm relay contact of a circuit to switch back regularly (e.g. every 2 hours), as long as there is an active alarm situation. Alarm Output Configuration Each alarm situation can result in one out of three different actions : you have the choice between the activation of the alarm relay of the circuit, a SNMP trap being generated or the sending out of an alarm e-mail. This alarm mail (see example below) gives you detailed information on the alarm : the name and the location of the installation where the alarm originated, the reason for the alarm and the IP address of the module. This makes it possible to have in one detection circuit areas where a water leak gets the highest priority, next to areas where leaks do not require the same urgency. Upload a map (in PDF) of the leak detection circuit Click on Upload PDF and following message appears: Click on Choose file to select the PDF-file with the site plan of the detection circuit. Select the file, and click on Upload PDF. The file will be uploaded into the and following message appears: Click on Return to return to the configuration screen of this specific circuit. If Aqua-Remote modules are to be installed, tick off Aqua-Remotes installed, then Apply to add the Aqua-Remote module. Then click Aqua-Remote configuration to configure the module. As a default the Aqua-Remote module comes with 4 Inputs and 4 Outputs; there is the possibility to add an expansion card with 4 supplementary in- and outputs, also to be configured here. Enter also the ModBus address of the Aqua-Remote; modules that are not active on the RS485 communication bus get 0 as ModBus address. Activation of an input of the Aqua-Remote module can trigger different actions. You can define these actions individually for each input, choosing from: an alarm activated in the module, an e- mail being sent out or a SNMP trap being generated. Name: Fill in the name of the input. Active: Tick this off if the input is connected to and being monitored by the module. Normal Open: Tick this off if the input is Normally Open. Name: Fill in the name of the Output relay. Active: Tick this off if the output relay is active. Event source: Select here which module is triggering this output relay: either the module itself or an Aqua-Remote module that is connected with the RS485 bus. Event type: In case the Event Source is an, you can select here which Event type should trigger an alarm, choosing between a leak only, or a leak and possible cable break. Input: Select here which circuit (in case of an module) or which input (in case of an Aqua- Remote module) will be steered by this specific relay. Zone: Select here which specific zone of the circuit will be steered by this relay, in case a leak will be detected. Network configuration DHCP enabled : Tick this off if the gets its IP address from a DHCP server on the network; if the is supposed to work with a fixed IP address, do not select this option. IP address : Fill in the fixed IP address for the module. Subnet : Fill in the parameters of the subnet mask. Gateway : Fill in the IP address of the gateway. DNS : Fill in the IP address of the DNS server. E-mail SMTP Server: Fill in the SMTP server name for the outgoing e-mails. SMTP Authentication: Tick off this option if a username and passwoord are requested to log on to the SMTP server. Username: Fill in the username for the SMTP server. Password: Fill in the password for the SMTP server. Port on server: Fill in the port number that is used by the SMTP server for the e-mail communication; the standard port number is 25. Mail from: Fill in the e-mail address used by the module to send out e-mails. Alarm e-mail Nr 1..5: Fill in up to 5 e-mail addresses of people that need to receive the alarm e- mails sent out by the. SNMP communication The Aqua-Detect is also capable of communicating with operating systems working with the SNMPprotocol. Fill out following screen for the SNMP integration. SNMP Trap receiver IP address: Fill in the IP address of the server that will receive the SNMP traps. User: Fill in the user name for the server that will receive the SNMP traps. Authentication protocol: Select here the type of protocol that will be used for the SNMP authentication on the server that will receive the SNMP traps. ModBus communication The can also communicate with systems operating with the ModBus-protocol, both type ModBus TCP/IP and ModBus RTU RS485. (ModBus RTU can not be used if Aqua-Remote modules have been installed). The ModBus communication port is 502. The table below lists all the data that can be read in the ModBus registers. 4. LCD-screen The LCD screen allows you to easily consult the actual status of the module and the history of the past alarms. Adjusting the network settings and rebooting the after such an adjustment can also be done via the screen. The standard PIN code is 1234 for a user and 3333 for an installer. After entering a valid PIN code, the status screen appears, showing exactly the same layout as the corresponding webpage.
