11 Dust Full Indicator When the dust bag is full or requires cleaning a Red indicator will be seen through the small window on the top of the vacuum cleaner. Ultimately, the dust bag should be emptied and cleaned periodically before the indicator shows. By the time the indicator shows, the suction performance of the vacuum cleaner has already been reduced dramatically. 12 Emptying the Dust Bag This vacuum cleaner uses a reusable / washable dust bag. Empty the Dust Bag as frequently as possible or when the suction power is reduced. To remove the Dust Bag, first remove the hose from the air intake, then press the release button (located on the front of the lid Handle) and lift the Dust Bag Cover up. Swing the bag forward and then slide the bag out with the bag holder. Slide the bag out of the bag holder. Page 9 of 14

Hold the dust bag over a rubbish bin and then slide the clip off the end of the bag. Empty the contents into a rubbish bin. Slide the clip back on to the bag, refit to the Bag holder then replace in vacuum cleaner. Note: The Dust Bag can be washed in warm soapy water and dried thoroughly. (Refer Maintenance Section). 13 User Maintenance WARNING: The plug must be removed from the power socket before any maintenance or replacement. NOTE: To maximise the performance of your vacuum cleaner, you should clean your bag and filters regularly. If the filters are broken or worn, replace them before continuing to use the vacuum. Wash the Filters Check for blockages and unblock then allow it to cool Due to the strong suction of your vacuum cleaner, it may be difficult to push, especially over thick carpet. Rather than force the Floor Brush, lift the Floor Brush momentarily to allow air to flow into the vacuum releasing the built up suction pressure, then continue vacuuming.
