NOBO PANE RAIATORS SERIES '14' OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Switch the heater on On / Off switch. l = On, 0 = Off. Set required temperature with control knob. Rotate clockwise to increase the temperature setting or anticlockwise to reduce the temperature setting. Min = 5 C - Max = 30 C The temperature setting of the heater/s should be adjusted to provide the required room temperature. Turning the control to its maximum setting and allowing the heater to run flat-out for long periods is not recommended because this produces high air leaving temperatures which can lead to discolouration. A heater will have to work much harder if adjacent rooms are unheated, if the Hall, for example is left unheated and the door is open. It is far better to use all of the heaters together. Where a room has more than one heater, all of the heaters should be used together and the control settings should be balanced so that they all operate at the same temperature. It is not considered to be good practice to have one heater operating at a higher temperature than another or for one heater to be switched off leaving the other to do all of the work. iscolouration may occur in rooms where there is smoke or air pollution, the burning of candles or combustion of any carbon based material will produce soot deposits. The convection current created by warm air leaving the heater will circulate the air within a room and any fumes or pollution in the air will also be circulated through the heater. NOTE A minimum clearance of 50mm around all surfaces should be maintained with 130mm clear above the heater. The heater must not be covered or things be placed on top of, over, or against the heater. Covering the heater could cause a fire. The heater is fitted with an over-temperature cut-out which will switch off the heating element in the event of the heater becoming too hot. The element will not be switched back on again until the heater has cooled. CEANING The heater may be cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. The heater may be tilted forwards on its mounting bracket for cleaning and decorating behind the heater. Pressing the clips downward at the back of the heater will release the heater from the mounting bracket. Telephone: 0121 328 5671 Facsimile: 0121 327 8580 Series 14 - E4 - Ops. txt - 1404
