Corridor / Staircase The Greenwood Corridor / Staircase AOV Ventilator is a low profile louvred natural smoke ventilator which is CE marked and EN tested and certified in accordance with EN12101 2. Stock sizes are available in 1.0m 2 and 1.5m 2 for immediate delivery. Made to measure sizes are available on request. The ventilator can be supplied with a local BBU (Battery Back Up) for 72 hours. The ventilator is manufactured from corrosion resistant aluminium. External water drainage ensures rain water does not enter the building. The ventilator is supplied in two parts to facilitate easy installation on site, the base assembly and louvre box assembly. The base types and applications are as follows:. Performance is tested to BS848-10:1999 Fans for general purposes. The slim-profile centrifugal is supplied with a fitted IP55 terminal box as standard, with an optional IP65 lockable fire rated isolator if required. Specification The centrifugal range comprises 50N or 100N thrust types, suitable for ambient temperature operation plus once only 300 C for 2 hour high temperature smoke conditions to European Standard EN12101 3:2002. The two speed motor is suitable for frequency inverter speed control on high speed. Motors Motors are totally enclosed airstream cooled, protected to IP55. Each motor is matched to the aerodynamic performance of the impeller. Fire Curtain Systems block the spread of flames (much like a fire door), and also compartmentalises hot smoke above head height to delay it from cooling and lowering to ground level, obscuring fire escape routes and causing a hazard to health. Smoke / Heat Exhaust Ventilation Compact control panel SHEV 3 / SHEV 6 The heart of our SHEV system for stairwells is the compact control panel SHEV 3, respectively SHEV 6 (output 3 Ampere and 6 Ampere). It is designed as a compact control panel, which is approved according to ISO 21927-9 (pren 12101-9) and DIN EN 12101-10. The control panel contains primary and secondary energy supply as well as the whole control technique for the operation of 24 Volt DC-actuators at building openings. The compact control panel operates the actuators in case of fire and for daily ventilation. Special ventilation functions (gap ventilation, dead man function, automatic ventilation) are free and individually programmable for the user. The daily ventilation function is also always a function control of the SHEV system. By the manual (Emergency button HE 08x) or automatic (smoke/heat detector) activation of the smoke and heat exhaust ventilation, electrical actuators or fittings are activated opening the smoke vents in the facade of the roof. The emergency power supply (lead acid batteries) at a power breakdown (mains failure) saves the function of the smoke and heat exhaust ventilation system for at least 72 hours. Remote diagnosis by GPRS (maintenance and trouble shooting) is optional and possible without excessive cost.
