HD LED Although the initial cost of an LED fitting is higher, they last over 13 times longer than Halogen, saving you money on replacement lamps. Use of Cool White for convenience lighting is preferable as it is brighter. Warm White LED is better suited to the more traditional kitchen designs, wood or painted doors and wood worktops. Warm White LED is the closest in colour to halogen, which a lot of consumers are used to and comfortable with. Warm White HD LED fittings can be used as an energy efficient direct replacement for halogen lighting. The Warm White LED is more aesthetically pleasing with most timber/traditional types of kitchens and worktops. Another element that is making an impact is the current rejuvenation of painted kitchen doors, we have found that irrespective of what colour the actual door is, the Warm White light augments the painted effect, whereas Cool White can quite often either bleach the colour or bring out a grey undertone which detracts from the actual colour.
