IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS Please read all instructions before installation and use. Before the first connecting of the air conditioner check that voltage indicated on the rating label corresponds the mains voltage in your home. Before turning on the appliance make sure that the air inlet grill and air outlet grill are not obstructed by anything. Before starting the air conditioner operation make sure that the air filter is well attached. If the unit has not been used for a long time, it is recommended to clean the air filter before your using the appliance. For continuous use clean the air filter at least once every two weeks. Do not use gasoline, benzene, thinner or any other chemicals or any liquid insecticide on the air conditioner, as these substances may cause flaking off of the paint, cracking or deformation of plastic parts. Try to avoid the sunlight and hot air from entering the room. During the cooling operation, curtains or window-blinds should be used to shade off the sunlight. Try to minimize the generation of heat during the operation of cooling. Place the heating sources out of the room. Do not keep exposed to the cool air for long time. It might cause discomforts of the body, which is harmful to your health. Do not sit on the outdoor unit or place any other objects on it. CAUTION: All wiring must comply with local and national electrical codes and be installed only by a qualified electrician. It is not recommended to use the air conditioner during flowering a poplar. The air conditioner should be earthed. Poor-quality grounding threatens with defeat by an electric current. Never try to stop the operation of the air conditioner by pulling out the power supply. Never insert your fingers or any foreign objects into the air outlet. Take special care to warn children of these dangers. To avoid the possibility of personal injury, be sure to disconnect power to the unit before servicing and cleaning. Do not attempt to repair, adjust or replace parts in the air conditioner. CONTROL PANEL OF INDOOR UNIT - operation indicator. - timer indicator. - the air conditioner will automatically defrost when outdoor unit frosts during heating operation. - the indicator will be lit when the powerful operation is selected. BATTERY OPERATION Open the battery compartment cover. Insert the batteries, please observe correct battery polarities or the set will not work. Close the battery compartment cover. New battery for replacement should be the same type. Before long idle time of the conditioner pull out the battery from the remote controller. USE THE REMOTE CONTROLLER Be aimed at the receiver of the signal. The maximal distance - 8 m. Press on the./. button and the operation indicator on the control panel of the indoor unit starts flashing. Some types of fluorescent lamps can prevent reception of the signal. Consult with the seller. REMOTE CONTROLLER DISPLAY 1. Generally, it displays the setting temperature. Press. button or. button, it shows the setting time of auto on-off. 2. This indicator flashes once when remote controller transmits signals to the indoor unit. 3. this indicator appears when the unit is turned on by the remote controller and disappears when the unit is turned off. 4. SPLIT TYPE AIR CONDITIONER MODE OPERATION Press the./. button to start. The operation indicator on control panel of the indoor unit should light up. Repress the./. button to stop. Press the button for set the favorite mode operation. COOL operation. : - Significant cooling, in this mode the temperature of air in the room is lowering. AUTO operation : - At the automatic operation the choice between operations COOL, HEAT, DRY is made automatically and depending of temperature air in the room. - Each hour if necessary occurs change of the mode of operation. DRY operation. : - Insignificant cooling, is applied to downturn of humidity. In this mode the temperature of air in the room not lowering. HEAT operation. : - When the outdoor air temperature is very low and humidity is very high, frosting will occur to the heat exchanger of the outdoor unit, which has negative impacts upon the efficiency of the heating performance. In such case, the automatic defrosting function will come into play. The heating operation will be stopped for 5-10 minutes to do the defrosting. - Warmly for heating room provide from outside. In case, the drop outdoor air temperature to external the heating up ability of the conditioner is too falls. When the outdoor air temperature is very low, the system can be used together with other heating devices. Select your favorite temperature press or button. ECONOMY OPERATION Press button during COOL or HEAT mode, you can raise the temperature with step 2ºC and the air rate in LO. LOCK OF THE BUTTONS Press on the. button, lock all the current settings. Another push cancel the lock function (use a 1mm little round stick to press this button). RESET When push the button, all current settings are cancelled and get into the condition of the beginning (use a 1mm little round stick to press this button). 5
AIR FLOW DIRECTION ADJUSTING VERTICAL AIR FLOW DIRECTION To adjust vertical air flow direction, adjust any one of the vertical louver blades manually. ADJUSTING UP/DOWN AIR FLOW DIRECTION Up/down direction can be adjusted by using the button on the remote controller. Establish necessary position of flap consecutive pressing the button. ON-TIMER OPERATION Press this button to initiate the auto-on time sequence. Each press will increase the auto-timed setting in 30 minutes increments. When the setting time displays 10:00, each press will increase the auto-timed setting 60 minutes increments. To cancel the auto-timed program, simply adjust the auto-on time to 0:00. OFF-TIMER OPERATION Press this button to initiate the auto-off time sequence. Each press will increase the auto-timed setting in 30 minutes increments. When the setting time displays 10:00, each press will increase the auto-timed setting 60 minutes increments. To cancel the auto-timed program, simply adjust the auto-off time to 0:00. CARE AND CLEANING Press the./. button and unplug the split tape air conditioner from power supply. CLEANING THE AIR FILTER Check the air filter every two weeks to see if it needs cleaning. Gently press the tow lower ends of the grid and open it. Gently pull up the air filter screen and take it out in the direction of your body and remove the air filter screen from the unit. Wash the air filter in warm water, do not wash air filter in the dishwasher. Do not use abrasive cleaners. Dry air filter completely before replacing to ensure maximum efficiency. NOTE: Never use hot water over 30 0 C to clean the air filter. Do not operate the appliance without the air filter in place. 6
CLEANING THE OUTDOOR AND INDOOR UNITS Wipe over the housing of the appliance using a soft damp cloth. Ensure all parts are wiped dry with a soft dry towel. Never use water over 50 0 C, alcohol, gasoline, acis, solvent or brush to clean the front panel, as this will damage the surface of the part.
