Modular Carpet FLOR sets the industry standard for modular performance. The efficient 50-cm (19.7-inch) size of FLOR tiles lets you use only what you need and gives you added flexibility to selectively replace damaged or worn areas. The patented backing on FLOR squares hugs the floor without curling, taping, additional padding or rippling effect. And, FLOR squares install with less waste generally 3-4% for most styles and only 1-2% for non-directional patterns which is significantly less than the average 14% waste factor for traditional rolled carpet. That saves you time and money. Intersept With the addition of our proprietary anti-microbial, Intersept, FLOR modular carpet squares protect against mold growth and odor-causing bacteria guaranteed. FLOR tiles treated with Intersept and properly maintained show no mold or bacterial growth when tested per the ASTM E2471 Standard Test Method. Intersept is low in toxicity, water insoluble and contains no arsenic, heavy metals, phenols or formaldehyde. Return & Recycle Our products contain varying degrees of renewable or recycled content with all new styles using 100% recycled nylon face fibers and are recyclable through our Return & Recycle Program. We take back our old FLOR tiles and turn them into new product, ensuring no FLOR ends up in a landfill. FLORdots FLOR squares go together using our patented FLORdot technology: sturdy, non-toxic, one-sided adhesives that connect securely to the bottom of each square never to the floor underneath making FLOR tiles removable, replaceable and incredibly versatile. No messy glues, nails or extra costs. Environmental Certifications Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) A statement of product ingredients and environmental impacts over the entire lifecycle of a product. A comprehensive lifecycle assessment (LCA) is performed to ISO standards to develop an EPD, after which both the EPD and LCA must be third party verified. CRI Green Label Plus An independant testing program that identifies carpet and adhesives with very low emissions of VOCs to help improve indoor air quality.
