Open the console and make sure the indicated temperature sensor is plugged in. If it is not, plug it in to the connector and go to Step 9. If it is plugged in, go to Step 3. 3. Check connector 2 on the appliance manager. ake sure it is plugged in and fully seated. If it is not, make the proper connection and go to Step 9. If it is already properly connected, go to Step 4. 4. isually inspect the wires between 2 on the appliance manager and the indicated temperature sensor. ake sure the wires are not cut or pinched. If the wires appear to be intact, unplug the 2 connector on the appliance manager. Go to Step 5. 5. easure indicated temperature sensor resistance value (measure between appropriate 2 connector pins). For the following sensors, the resistance value should read: ain Oven Sensor - Between 931 and 2869 Ω. (Approximately 1080 Ω at room temperature). Lower Oven Sensor - Between 931 and 2869 Ω. (Approximately 1080 Ω at room temperature). arm Drawer Sensor - Between 1,500 and 319,000 Ω. (Approximately 119,420 Ω at room temperature) eat robe Sensor - Between 1,300 and 103,000 Ω. (Approximately 59,000 Ω at room temperature) (Insert meat probe into meat probe jack located inside the oven cavity prior to reading resistance.) easure any 2 connector pin to chassis. esistance value should read open. If it does not, replace sensor harness. epeat Step 5. If the indicated temperature sensor does not meet these requirements, go to Step 6. If the temperature sensor does meet the requirements, go to Step 9. 6. For AIN, LOE and A DAE sensors: eplace appropriate temperature sensor. epeat Step 5. If the requirements are not met, replace sensor harness. epeat Step 5. If the requirements are still not met, go to Step 7. For EA OBE sensor: eplace meat probe sensor. epeat Step 5. If the requirements are not met, replace sensor harness. epeat Step 5. If the requirements are still not met, replace the meat probe jack. epeat Step 5. If the meat probe sensor is still not meeting the requirements, go to Step 7. 7. eplace the appliance manager. Ensure all connectors are properly seated. 8. Ensure all wiring connections are made. 9. eplace all parts and panels before operating. 10. lug in range or reconnect power. 11. Observe for longer than 1 minute. 12. Initiate a bake cycle. Let the cycle run at least 1 minute. If no error returns, cancel the cycle. he problem has been repaired. If the error occurs again, restart the troubleshooting procedure at Step 1. FAILUE (Leftmost F5 Inputs EO (ightmost EO LIKEL FAILUE CONDIION Door and latch switch do not agree Door latch not operating SUGGESED COECIE ACION OCEDUE OCEDUE: Before proceeding, perform steps 1 through 3 of o o erify : 1. hile in Diagnostics, open the oven door. 1 should appear in the second clock digit from the left. Close the oven door. he clock digit should toggle to 0. If the digit did not toggle, go to Step 2. If the digit did not toggle after replacing the door switch, go to Step 4. If the digit did not toggle after replacing the door switch harness, go to Step 6. If the digit did toggle, door switch is operating correctly. 2. Unplug range or disconnect power. 3. eplace door switch. (If door switch is integral to the door latch motor assembly, replace the entire door latch motor assembly.) Go to Step 8. 5. Check integrity of all harness wires and connections between the appliance manager and the door switch. Check that there are no shorted wires to chassis. If the wiring is bad, replace the door switch harness. Go to Step 8. If the wiring is good, go to Step 8. 6. Unplug range or disconnect power. 7. eplace appliance manager. Go to Step 8. 8. eplace all parts and panels before operating. 9. lug in range or reconnect power. 10. Enter the Diagnostics mode described in steps 1 through 3 of o epeat Step 1 above. o erify Door Latch Switch/otor Assembly: 1. hile in Diagnostics, press the CLEAN key to cycle the latch motor to the locked position. 1 should appear in the first clock digit from the left when locked. ress the CLEAN key to cycle the latch motor to the unlocked position. he clock digit should toggle to 0. If the digit did not toggle, go to Step 2. If motor runs continuously, wait until motor reaches the unlocked position, open the door, press the OFF key, go to Step 2. If motor did not run, go to Step 8. If the digit did not toggle after replacing the door latch motor assembly, go to Step 4. If the digit did not toggle after replacing the door latch switch harness, go to Step 6. If the digit did toggle, door latch switch is operating correctly. 2. Unplug range or disconnect power. 3. eplace door latch motor assembly. Go to Step 11. 5. Check integrity of all harness wires and connections between the appliance manager and the door latch switch. Check that there are no shorted wires to chassis. If the wiring is bad, replace the door latch switch harness. Go to Step 11. If the wiring is good, go to Step 11. 6. Unplug range or disconnect power. 7. eplace appliance manager. Go to Step 11. 8. Unplug range or disconnect power. 9. Check integrity of latch mechanism from cam to latch pawl and door slot. Ensure that pawl aligns with the door slot. Correct any mechanical malfunction. 10. Check continuity of the latch motor and of electrical connections between appliance manager 8 and motor. If continuity is present, replace appliance manager. Go to Step 11. 11. eplace all parts and panels before operating. 12. lug in range or reconnect power. 13. Enter the Diagnostics mode described in steps 1 through 3 of o epeat Step 1 above. 2

FAILUE (Leftmost EO (ightmost LIKEL FAILUE CONDIION EO Lost communication SUGGESED COECIE ACION OCEDUE OCEDUE: Before proceeding, perform steps 1 through 3 of o 2. Unplug meat probe and power the unit. If error goes away, the meat probe sensing line is grounded. Check the harness and probe jack for a short to ground. 3. Open the console and make sure the 6 connector on the appliance manager and the 2 connector on the user interface are fully inserted. If not, plug in connectors and go to Step 6. If fully plugged in, go to Step 3. 4. isually inspect all of the 4 wires between 6 on the appliance manager and 2 on the user interface. ake sure the wires are not cut or pinched. If the wires appear to be intact, perform a continuity check between in 4 of the appliance manager and in 4 of the user interface. Do the same for pins 1, 2, and 5. Both of these checks should result in a reading of less than 5 Ω.. If either of these checks fail, go to Step 5. If these checks pass, reconnect 2, then go to Step 4. 5. eplace the appliance manager. Ensure all connectors are properly seated; then go to Step 6. 6. eplace the wiring harness (signal) and go to Step 6. 7. Ensure all wiring connections are made. 8. eplace all parts and panels before operating. 9. lug in range or reconnect power. 10. Observe for longer than 1 minute. 11. If the error does not appear, initiate a bake cycle. Let the cycle run at least 1 minute. If no error occurs, cancel the cycle. he problem has been repaired. If the error occurs again, restart the troubleshooting procedure at Step 1 (except in Step 4 replace the user interface if the appliance manager has already been replaced). FAILUE (Leftmost (continued) EO (ightmost E2 LIKEL FAILUE CONDIION Cook range over temperature Clean range over temperature SUGGESED COECIE ACION OCEDUE OCEDUE: Before proceeding, perform steps 1 through 3 of o 1. ress the BAKE key to cycle the Bake relay on and off. If the Bake relay does not turn on and off, go to Step 6. If the element or gas valve does not cycle with the relay, go to Step 4. If the element or gas valve did cycle on and off, go to Step 2. 2. ress the BOIL key to cycle the Broil relay on and off. If the Broil relay does not turn on and off, go to Step 6. If the element or gas valve does not cycle with the relay, go to Step 4. If the element or gas valve did cycle on and off, go to Step 3. 3. ress the CONEC BAKE key to cycle the convect bake relay on and off. If the Convect Bake relay does not turn on and off, go to Step 6. If the element does not cycle with the relay, go to Step 4. If the element did cycle on and off, go to Step 4. 5. Check integrity of all harness wires and connections between the appliance manager and the electric elements. Check that there are no shorted wires to chassis. GAS ODELS: Ensure all wiring and connections between the control and spark module, spark module and bake/broil gas valve are good. If the wiring is good, go to Step 11. ELECIC ODELS: Ensure all wiring and connections between the appliance manager and elements and the appliance manager and the user interface are good. If the wiring connections are not intact, go to Step 10. If the wiring is good, go to Step 9. 6. Unplug range or disconnect power. 7. eplace the appliance manager. Go to Step 17. 8. Unplug range or disconnect power. 9. eplace the display. Go to Step 17. 10. eplace the harness. Go to Step 17. 11. eplace spark module. 12. eplace all parts and panels before operating. 13. lug in range or reconnect power. 14. Enter the diagnostics mode described in steps 1 through 3 of o ress the BAKE key or the BOIL key to turn the Bake or Broil gas valve on and off. If the Bake or Broil valves will not turn off, go to Step 15. If the Bake or Broil valves will not turn off after being replaced, go to Step 8. If the Bake or Broil valves do turn off, go to Step 17. 15. Unplug range or disconnect power. 16. eplace the Bake/Broil gas valve. Go to Step 12. 17. eplace all parts and panels before operating. 18. lug in range or reconnect power. 19. erify operation is normal. Go to Step 1 of o Enter Diagnostic ode and complete checks. 3

If the arm Drawer relay does not turn on and off, go to Step 4. If the element does not cycle with the relay, go to Step 2. If the element does cycle with the relay, go to Step 2. 2. Unplug range or disconnect power. 3. Check the integrity of all harness wires, the connections between the appliance manager and the electric element, and the connections between the appliance manager and the user interface.
