For your safety and the safety of others the following safeguards are very important. Failure to read and follow these instructions may lead to serious injury. MEDICAL RECOMMENDATIONS You must not use the Vibrapower Cordless Belt without your doctor s consent if you: Are pregnant Have had a recent operation or surgery Have knee, shoulder, back or neck injuries You are strongly recommended to consult your doctor before using the Vibrapower Cordless Belt if you have any of the following: Heart condition or cardiovascular disease High blood pressure Acute thrombosis Acute hernia Severe diabetes Epilepsy Severe migraines Malignant tumour Pacemaker, implants, artificial joint(s) or limb(s), stents or IUD Any recent illnesses or infections Cancer Discontinue using if you experience dizziness, nausea, shortness of breath, pain, or any other abnormal symptoms. 2
GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS Consult your doctor before beginning this or any exercise or diet programme. The voltage and electrical circuit to which the Vibrapower Cordless Belt is connected must always comply with the laws in force. Vibrapower Cordless Belt is NOT suitable for use by children. Increase speed, intensity and duration of exercises gradually. After each use, the machine must always be switched off and unplugged. Always switch off the machine and disconnect the power supply before cleaning. Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or damaged in any way. In case of damage, take the unit in for examination and/or repair by an authorised service agent. Do not let the Vibrapower Cordless Belt get wet with any type of liquid. n addition, do not use the Vibrapower Cordless Belt while your hands are wet. Do not use accessory attachments that are not recommended or supplied by the manufacturer may result in injury, fire or electric shock. Only use the adaptor supplied with the Vibrapower Cordless Belt. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised so that they do not play with the appliance. Vibrapower Cordless Belt offers the following benefits: Muscle building General fitness Muscle relaxation 3 In order to maximise the benefits of Vibrapower Cordless Belt you should always remember the following points: In order to achieve the desired results, you should use Vibrapower Cordless Belt continuously. Longer-term use will ensure you maintain your desired goals. When using Vibrapower Cordless Belt for the first time, increase the intensity of vibration, and duration of exercise, gradually. Remember always start the machine from the lowest speed setting and then increase the speed step by step. You will enhance your results by following a calorie-controlled diet along with your exercise routine. Do NOT use Vibrapower Cordless Belt with a full stomach; vibration will make you feel uncomfortable if you have just eaten. Please also remember to drink plenty of water before and after exercising. Do not use Vibrapower Cordless Belt while you are eating or drinking. Equally do not exercise when you are hungry. Eating a meal a couple of hours before your workout is best. Drink plenty to re-hydrate during your exercising. Stop exercising if you feel tired, exhausted or dizzy. Important Notice: Do not use the Vibrapower Cordless Belt for more than 12 minutes at a time and no more than 3 times a day (3 x 12mins = 36mins a day). It is more effective to increase the intensity of the vibrations during the exercise, rather than increase the time.
UNPACKING To avoid danger of suffocation, please keep all plastic bags out of the reach of children. Check that there is no damage to the unit prior to use. In case of visible damage before or during use, unplug the Vibrapower Cordless Belt and contact your Vendor. Do not attempt to use the Vibrapower Cordless Belt. Vibrapower Cordless Belt is designed for home use only and is not intended for commercial use. Please do not use outdoors. Please retain all packaging and paperwork for future use and store safely away from children and animals. SETTINGS AND USE Remove Vibrapower Cordless Belt from packaging and carry case. Attach charging adapter and plug into mains socket to charge. Charging will take 2 and a half hours. Ensure product is fully charged before unplugging. Once charged undo the belt by pulling apart the hook & loop strap. Wrap the Vibrapower Cordless Belt around the part of your body you wish to exercise and secure in place using the hook & loop strap attached. The Vibrapower Cordless Belt can be used on a variety of areas of the body from stomach, back, arms, legs & buttocks. At the end of your workout, turn off the machine by pressing the on/off switch on the remote Do not leave on charge for more than 2.5 hours, as this could affect the battery life. Turn the machine on by pressing the On/Off button on the remote control. This will automatically start the machine after a couple of seconds in Program 1 at the lowest intensity for the shortest time. To change between programs press the Program P button until you reach your desired program. Once will change it to P2, twice will change it to P3 and three times will change it to Manual mode. To change the desired workout time, press the Time button in the top left corner of the remote. The Vibrapower Cordless Belt has 4 time settings, 5minutes, 8minutes, 10minutes & 12minutes. Keep pressing the Time button until you reach your desired workout length. When in manual mode you can change the strength of the vibration by using the + or buttons at the bottom of the remote control. You will hear a beeping sound once pressed unless you have reached the maximum / minimum level, then no sound will be heard. You cannot change the strength of vibration when using one of the 3 preset programs. 5
Extending the size of the Vibrapower Cordless Belt ve Vibrapower Cordless Belt from packaging and carry case.to extend the size of the Vibrapower Cordless Belt, there is an extra length of belt provided. This has hook and loop tape stitched on to it to secure in place. Slide the extension belt through the metal loop so that the hook section (shorter section) is first, double this over so that it attaches to the loop section (longer section) of the extension belt, ensuring you leave enough of the extension belt to attach onto the belt. Then make sure that the belt fits nicely around the desired area of your body. Do not leave it so it is loose as the belt will not have the desired effect. STORAGE & CLEANING Clean the Vibrapower Cordless Belt with a damp cloth and mild detergent only, immediately after use. Use a weak solution of anti-bacterial washing up liquid in warm water and a microfibre cloth to clean your Vibrapower Cordless Belt, be sure to wring out the cloth so that it is just damp. Ensure the Vibrapower Cordless Belt is unplugged from the mains before cleaning is undertaken. Regularly check the cord/cable for damage before storing. Should the cord/cable be damaged in any way it must ONLY be replaced by the manufacturer or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard. Regularly check the Vibrapower Cordless Belt but do not switch on if it appears to be damaged or operating incorrectly. Do NOT attempt to carry out any repair to the Vibrapower Cordless Belt in any way as this must in all cases be referred to a suitably qualified technician. Never pull the cord/cable to disconnect from the power outlet. Always grasp the plug and pull to disconnect. Remove the plug when not in use. TROUBLESHOOTING Problem No lights; does not respond to Remote Control Intensity too high! Vibrapower Cordless Belt making unusual noises or smells. Solution Check Vibrapower Cordless Belt is charged by attaching the adapter and switching it on at the mains. Check socket works with an alternative electrical product. Adjust intensity using the strength buttons on the Remote Control. Immediately turn off Vibrapower Cordless Belt and call service centre or Ideal World for assistance. 6
