X2D COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL Over 7 million products installed! Developed and patented by Delta Dore over 20 years ago, the X2D language is a communication protocol used for wireless, powerline carrier and BUS products. The X2D communication protocol is used for home energy management, alarm and control system applications, thus being the core of Delta Dore s home automation offer. As it requires no specific configuration tool, X2D is very easy to install and use. Each installation has its own code (16 million possibilities), which ensures a secure system. Using the same protocol for home applications allows them to be immediately operational and interactive. This gives you considerable latitude to offer your customers a wealth of adaptations to meet their needs. 10
COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES USED BY DELTA DORE X2D radio Delta Dore has chosen to use the 868 MHz frequency to exchange information between different applications in the home. One of the advantages of using the 868 MHz bandwidth is that it is regulated and, above all, standardized. This means it cannot be disrupted by other radio emitting electrical appliances (e.g. : wireless headset). X2D-HD bi-directional radio technology X2D-HD is the high-speed radio communication protocol developed by Delta Dore. It can be used, among other things, to control a series of networked motors. The built-in meshing function allows information received by one motor to be repeated to the next, thus extending the wireless range. The feedback function ensures that the roller shutters have successfully received a command and reached the desired position. This constitutes a comparative advantage. X2D powerline carrier (PLC) This technology uses the existing electrical network and does not require any additional wiring. X2D does not disrupt appliances or the electric power supply thanks to its separate 132.45 KHz bandwidth. Open to other protocols Our protocol expertise is not limited to X2D.
