SPRING CREEK PARKWAY CORRIDOR DART 2040 TRANSIT SYSTEM PLAN CORRIDOR INFORMATION LIMITS er Road to Northwest Plano P&R/ Legacy LENGTH MILES) 0.8 MODE Bus HEADWAYS 5/20 RIGHT-OF-WAY TYPE POTENTIAL NEW STATIONS 2040 RIDERSHIP POTENTIAL CAPITAL COST ESTIMATE M$) COST/RIDER City of Plano Note: Alignment and Proposed s are Conceptual and For Evaluation Purposes Only PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Spring Creek way bus corridor is identified in the NCTCOG Metropolitan Transportation Plan Mobility 2040) as a potential high intensity bus corridor. This would be an express or limited stop route that would connect the DART Red Line to the growing Legacy employment area in northwest Plano. The route would travel from er Road along Spring Creek way to Northwest Plano park-and-ride and then could continue into Legacy with a local circulation pattern before turning back. The route could be extended south of er Road to the CityLine/ Bush as well to interface with the future Cotton Belt rail line. This route provides opportunities for other regional linkages and service patterns as well including: connections to a potential Irving-Frisco Rail Corridor immediately west of Legacy; connections to or extended service into the McKinney Corridor; and, extended service into Frisco to link those residents to Legacy as well as the Red Line.
