SAVING WATER WITH THE ROCA ECO DISC CARTRIDGE The Roca eco disc cartridge is supplied as standard with the majority of of our single lever mixer taps. The cartridge gives you the choice between two water flows. As you raise the lever handle you reach a level of resistance giving 50% of the flow; by lifting beyond this bite-point, you achieve full water flow. The cartridge also has a temperature limiter, set when installing the tap, to eliminate the risk of scalding. It can easily be altered after installation. Eco Ceramic Disc + Temperature Limiter
HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR TAPS BASINS There are many means in which you can provide water to your basin. In addition to the traditional option of two pillar taps (as shown below) you may wish to select something different to suit your bathroom. For definitions of the different types of tap and explanations of how they operate, see page. INSTALLATION RESTRICTIONS If you are choosing a style of operation that is different from your existing taps then it is always best to contact a plumber or local specialist retailer who can advise you of any specific installation requirements which will need to be considered when making your final decision. ELECTRONIC AMURA-N The ultimate high tech tap! Designed to be used with a one tap hole basin this tap is operated by means of a sensor which uses proximity detection to control the flow of water on and off. No handles or buttons, hygienic and water saving perfect for both public and private installations fittings that use an infra red beam of light which when broken for the first time the water flows and a second time the water stops. TRADITIONAL Made to suit a basin with two tapholes these taps are the most traditional in style, offering one tap for the cold water and another for the hot. BATHS ONLY If you are looking for something to suit a bath without a shower or one which has a separate shower control there are several means to choose from to fill the bath WALL MOUNTED VALVE These are built in plates which allow you to control the water flow to the bath. Separate water outlets must be chosen for the bath (see page for bath filling options). THESIS DECK MOUNTED BATH FILLERS VECTRA These mount directly on to the bath. There are options for baths with two tapholes (see left) as well as the option of a mono bath filler which only requires one tap hole and is popular for those who choose a no taphole bath and can therefore be positioned in a location of your choice. Options available in the following ranges: Loft, Logica, Monojet-N, Targa, Vectra, V, Monodin-N, Danube-N and Danube Cross (mono filler available in selected ranges only). OR HOLE DECK MOUNTED BATH FILLERS AMURA-N These offer a stylish method of filling the bath. They can be mounted directly on the bath surround or on a ledge depending on the depth. Some come pre-mounted on a metal plate for a stylish look which is easy to fit. Options include: Touch, Amura. LUXURY BATH SPOUTS These are fabulously designed pieces which deliver the water in a beautiful way. These spouts only deliver the water so a separate valve(s) or control in a style of your choice must be selected to turn the water on and off and regulate the temperature (see page and 8 for valve options). BATH FILLER/ OVERFLOW Another clever method for filling your bath is an overflow which acts as a bath filler at the same time. The water comes out of part of the overflow so there is no need for a separate spout. This only delivers the water so separate valves or control in a style of your choice must be selected to turn the water on and off and regulate the temperature (see page 8 and 9 for valve options). JETSET PLUS AMURA-N WALL-MOUNTED BATH AND SHOWER VALVES These are built in plates which have a diverter so you can switch from controlling the shower flow to that of the bath flow. Separate water outlets must be chosen for the bath and shower (eg fixed head and a bath spout) see page 6 for options. WALL-MOUNTED BATH SHOWER MIXER These mount directly to the wall and are therefore used with no taphole baths. TYPES OF TAP MONOBLOCK SINGLE LEVER ½ TURN This is the term used to describe any mixer suitable for a one tap hole basin and can be single lever or twin handled tap body.
