Special conditions for safe use The suffix "X" placed after the certificate number indicates that this product is subject to special conditions for safe use: A reverse heat flow from the process exceeding the permissible ambient temperature of the transmitter or the enclosure is not allowed and shall be avoided by a suitable thermal insulation or a suitable neck length of the tubing. The wall thickness of the thermometer is greater than 0.2mm, but less than 1 mm. The device may not be exposed to environmental conditions which may negatively affect the partition wall. A thermowell with a suitable minimum wall thickness can be used alternatively. Using a thermowell/neck tube the device shall be constructed in a way that allows an installation that results in a sufficient tight joint (IP67) or a flameproof joint (GB3836.2-201 0) in the direction of the less endangered area. (Ta) for variants with optional connection cable with molded connector M1 2X1 is limited to -2o c -+so c. (Ta) for variants with optional adapter M12-EN 175301 is limited to -4o c -+s5 c. 2.
