All wet marks should be dried off as soon as possible to stop moisture penetration. The sink and faucet should be wiped clean with a cloth damped in water or a nonabrasive detergent. Ceramic sinks are resistant to most chemicals, except for strong acids and strong alkalis. Crushed marble sinks should not come in contact with ammonia, acids, strong detergents, hair dye, or chlorine. SAFETY Furniture with included restraints must be secured to the wall according to the product s assembly instructions. Different wall materials require different types of hardware. Use hardware (sold separately) suitable for the walls in your home. Secure that the walls in your bathroom can support the weight of the sink cabinet, and if not, then add legs. With the bathroom series you can create a wellorganized bathroom that gives the whole family a calm start to the day, even if the bathroom is small. You can even get double-bowl sinks and faucets that save both time and water if you have a big family. There s also plenty of room for storage. HOW TO CHOOSE 1 2 3 4 5 1 2 3 4 5 1. Start planning your bathroom by thinking about the wall space you have available for a sink cabinet and sink, since this is the center of most bathroom activities. The series has sink cabinets of different sizes and storage capacities. After you have decided on the size of the sink cabinet, you can choose between different colors and finishes, and find the one that suits both your needs and style. The sink cabinets can be mounted to the wall either with or without supporting legs. The drawers in sink cabinet are smooth running and pull out fully so you can easily see and reach what s inside. Pull-out stops prevent the drawers from being pulled out too far and falling. Removable dividers inside the drawers let you organize all your small things. 2. IKEA sinks come in different sizes and materials. You can choose a single or double sink, depending on your needs and space. The sinks are made of ceramic or crushed marble. Be aware that the sink can be up to ¾" wider than the sink cabinet to protect from water leakage. Ceramic sinks have a glazed finish and are easy to clean. They have excellent scratch resistance and are very durable. Crushed marble is comprised mainly of crushed minerals with binding agents. Crushed marble sinks are smooth, durable and easy to clean. All sinks come with a water trap and strainer. 3. You can find a wide selection of faucets at IKEA. Choose your faucet based on function and design. All faucets come with a strainer kit, with the exception of OLSKÄR. All faucets at IKEA have a water-saving device that uses 50% less water but ensures that the water flow feels the same. All bathroom faucets and sinks at IKEA are covered by a -year limited warranty. GRANSKÄR, DANNSKÄR, DALSKÄR, and ENSEN faucets have a special function: a cold water start that helps you save energy. Usually you turn on an ordinary faucet by lifting the lever straight up in the center position, which releases both cold and hot water. Often hot water isn t necessary, or hasn t had sufficient time to reach the faucet. When you lift the lever straight up on a faucet with a cold water start function, only cold water is released, which reduces any waste of hot water. To release hot water, you lift the lever to the left. 4. Now it s time for you to choose what to put above and around your sink: mirrors, mirror cabinets, high cabinets, high cabinets with mirror door, or wall cabinets. The combinations are endless. Make your choice based on your bathroom storage needs and space. 5. If you want a different expression in your bathroom you can choose to combine sink cabinets with TOLKEN countertops and TÖRNVIKEN vessel sinks. LIMITED WARRANTY -YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY How long is the Limited valid? The Limited for the bathroom products stated below remains in force for ten () years and is valid from the date of purchase. The original purchase receipt is required as proof of purchase. What is covered under this Limited? This Limited applies to domestic use only and covers defects in material and workmanship in the following furniture: furniture legs ODENSVIK, HAGAVIKEN, and TÖRNVIKEN porcelain sinks and included water trap BRÅVIKEN and EDEBOVIKEN crushed marble sinks and included water trap storage unit set of 3, box with compartments, box with lid. What will IKEA do to correct the problem? IKEA will examine the product and decide, at its sole discretion, if it is covered under this Limited. If considered covered, IKEA through its own service operations, will then, at its sole discretion, either repair the defective product or replace it with the same or a comparable product. If it is covered by this Limited, IKEA will pay the costs of repairs, spare parts, labor and travel for repair staff, that IKEA incur, provided that the product is accessible for repair without special expenditure. This does not apply to any repair work not authorized by IKEA. Replaced parts become the property of IKEA. If the item is no longer sold by IKEA, IKEA will provide an appropriate replacement. Installation Furniture must be attached securely to the wall. Verify that the walls in your bathroom can support the weight of the furniture, as wrong installation may cause injury or damage. If you are uncertain about the installation, contact a professional. As wall materials vary, screws for attaching to wall are not included.
