Start screen If the ironing roll is switched on by switching the main switch on position 1, the startup screen will appear. Start up screen: Above the colored bar is indicated what the system is doing at start up. The different colored zones indicate the different parts from start up. The logo from the screen can be changed in the screen Machine settings Emergency situation or after start up of machine. Push the reset button. 6

Then you can select/activate a program by pushing on the programs name. On top of the screen is the active program name and program number shown. After selecting the program, then you go automatically to the working screen. 10
Press to go back to the previous screen. 11
Working screen Push the button, then you get the screen Working screen. This screen provides supervision at a glance of all the important machine data while it is in operation. 12
- Hydraulic pressure: Here you can see at what hydraulic pressure the chest is pressing against the ironing roll. - Intensity: This is the resistance/ friction in % from the ironing roll against the chest. Example: 28% means that the roll drive motor is using 28% of its power. When the friction value comes too high, then the chest must be waxed/cleaned. The value becomes red if the friction is too high. 13
- Temperature: The temperature is displayed in either C / F or Kelvin. The temperature can be read off separately for each roller by selecting the desired roller using the roll button. Pressing on the temperature display provides a graphic display of burner operation, temperature process from the burner exhaust, the set point and ironing temperature. Roll button If you want to save the data from the trending table on a USB stick, then you must place a USB stick into the B&R screen and press on the button. 14
- Speed: This is the ironing speed. Pressing on the speed display provides a bar where the speed can be adjusted manually by using the slide or by pushing on the buttons or. To go back to the working screen, push 15
- Preheat : If you want to heat up the ironer, push the preheat button. When the ironer has reached its temperature, the Start button will appear and pressing it will initiate the start-up cycle. The machine is ready for use once the roller has started to rotate. Preheat button - Start : When the machine has reached its temperature, the Start button will appear and pressing it will initiate the start-up cycle. The machine is ready for use once the roller has started to rotate. Start button 16
- Pause: The Pause button can be used to stop the machine. The temperature level continues to be monitored and maintained even while the chest is opened. Pressing the Start button resumes machine operation. Pause button - Stop: The Stop button brings the machine to a complete halt with the heating being switched off and the chest opening up. The circulation pump continues working for about five minutes, which helps to extend the life of the heating oil. Stop button 17
- Emergency stop: When the emergency stop button is activated, all the motors and the burner are deactivated and the ironing bed opens automatically. The machine can only be restarted by turning the emergency stop button back in a clockwise direction and pressing the reset button again. - Finger guard: If the finger guard is touched, the roll stops rotating immediately but the chest will keep pushing against the roll and the ironer keeps at temperature. A restart is only possible by pressing button Start button. When the finger guard is used, the chest remains pressed against the roll. It is therefore strongly recommended to let the ironing roll rotate again or the machine turned off completely as quickly as possible. Otherwise the padding will overheat. Finger guard To go back to the working screen, push 18
- Burner screen (Only gas heated ironer): 6 1 4 2 3 5 The burner screen gives the possibility to change and show the following settings.: - 1 : This is the temperature from the oil that is going from the heat exchanger to the chest. - 2 : This is the temperature from the oil that is going from the chest to the heat exchanger. - 3 : This is the exhaust temperature from the heat exchanger. (burner exhaust) - 4 : This indicates if the burner is switched on or off. - 5 : This indicates if the burner is giving more or less power. (Only modulating burners can show this) 19
- Temperature ironing: This is the selected ironing temperature. (Set point) - Burner minimum: This is a value in C. For example this value is 10. This means that if the temperature is below the selected ironing temperature (188 C) and 178 C (= Selected temperature 188 C 10) then the burner will modulate. When the temperature is below 178 C, then the burner will use its maximum power. 6 - Burner stop: The burner will stop working a couple C before the selected ironing temperature has been reached. This to prevent that the selected ironing temperature will be succeeded. Example: If this value is 3 C, and the selected ironing temperature is 188 C. The burner will stop heating at 185 C. - Heating P: When the ironing temperature drops 1 C, will the burner valve open by % to increase the burner power. - : By pushing on this symbol you get the temperature trending screen. 20
When there is no gas pressure, or not enoug gas pressure then you will see this message. The burner will try to start 5 times, when the burner can t start after 5 times, then the burner goes in error mode. 21
- Heating element screen (Only electrical heated ironer): 2 1 (Heating element is not working) 22
2 1 (Heating element is working) The heating screen gives the possibility to change and show the following settings.: - 1 : This is the temperature from the oil that is going from the chest to the heat exchanger. - 2 Temperature ironing: This is the selected ironing temperature. (Set point) - : By pushing on this symbol you get the temperature trending screen. 23
- Circulation pump screen : 2 1 The circulation pump screen gives the possibility to show the following settings.: - 1 : This indicates if the circulation pump is running or not. The arrow will become green if the pump is working. - 2 : This is indicates if the contact from the Fantini pressure switch is closed (normal position). If the contact is closed, then you see a green cube. When there is an error, then you see a red cube. 24
2 25
- Caloric screen : (only visible when CALORIC is connected) 3 1 2 4 This screen can only be seen if the CALORIC is connected onto the ironer. (option) The CALORIC screen gives the possibility to show the following settings.: - 1 : This is the temperature from the hot roll exhaust air to the CALORIC. - 2 : This is the temperature from the cooled down roll exhaust air from CALORIC. - 3 : This is the temperature from the cold water input to the CALORIC. - 4 : This is the temperature from the hot water output from the CALORIC. 26
Press to go back to the previous screen. 27
Recepts Push the button, then you get the screen Recepts. (This button is only active when logged in as Programmer or LACO.) This enables various existing programs to be modified as well as creating new programs. (Only when gas heated) 28
The current program can be modified on the left-hand side. Changes here are implemented immediately and are visible while the machine is in operation. Once the current program has been modified, it should be uploaded to the data file, which is done by pressing, all data is now transferred to data file and from there it can be saved in the machine memory by pressing. Other programs can be created or modified while the machine is in operation. This can be done on the right-hand side of the screen (file data). The current program continues to run while programming takes place. Once creating or modifying programs is complete, press data file to memory. to save the A new or updated program can also be downloaded directly to the machine data (right-hand side of the screen) for immediate testing. You can start with a complete new program by pushing on the button right side will now be erased., the data on the Pushing on the button brings you directly to the burner screen. 29

NOTE: The main switch must be left in the "1" position. - Temperature preheating: When the ironer is cold and you have pressed the preheat button, then the ironer will heat up with small burner flame. This is better for the lifetime of the ironer. So the parameter for example 173 C means that the machine will heat up with small flame until it has reached 173 C. After that the burner will start to modulate until it has reached the Ironing temperature. -Ironing temperature: Here you can select at what temperature you want to iron. -Sheet detection function: This is used to catch up even faster the temperature drop when feeding linen. When ON, the sensors in front of the ironer give a signal to the burner to start modulate immediately. When OFF, the sensors and function is not used. 31
-Auto pause function: This is used to let the roll stop rotating when there is no linen going through the ironer for the last for example 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the roll will stop rotating and will go to pause modus. When ON, the sensors in front of the ironer give a signal to the ironer to let this function work. When OFF, the sensors and function is not used. The time can be change in the menu Machine settings 32
