Monitoring with IceSpy System5 Over 16 years of knowledge, experience and expertise of wireless monitoring has been invested into System5, giving you the confidence of installing a system that will meet your every need. IceSpy System5 has been designed to provide users with built-in temperature and humidity monitoring (with optional door events). With System5, you have the flexibility to add sensors to monitor many other parameters such as gases, flow rates, differential pressure or ph levels. Advantages of IceSpy System5 Identifies potential temperature breach before damage can occur Controls wastage costs with 24 hour remote alarm system Aids compliance with MHRA regulations Meets British Standard 4376 Eliminates errors resulting from manual checks Reduces time spent taking manual readings Promotes safe transfusion practice in hospitals Repeat alarms can be set to ensure that an alarm event isn t missed Alleviates audit stress with easy access to current and historical records What does it monitor? System5 is used to monitor blood banks, fridges, freezers (including FFP freezers), cold rooms, plasma thawers, ambient storage facilities, processing equipment, vehicles, warehouses, laboratory equipment such as -80 C freezers and incubators, and manufacturing processes. What separates us from the competition? 1. There is no other cost-effective product in the healthcare market today that provides the same accuracy and quality that the IceSpy System5 offers. 2. The hardware has been designed with a memory to store data should power failure occur unexpectedly. Data can be back fed to the software once power is restored; ensuring audit records are complete and easily accessible. 3. The waterproof transmitters provide an IP rating of 67 with easy wipe moulded ABS material. The rugged material enables the transmitters to operate within fridges, cold rooms and wet environments. 4. The addition of a BMS card enable users to receive immediate audible and visual alarms as well as SMS, phone and email alert communication. 5. The IceSpy brand is well established within the healthcare industry with use in organisations such as the NHS. The system consists of Scout transmitters that log, store and wirelessly send readings to a BasePlus unit. Data can be downloaded to either a single PC or via your IT network, and can be accessed through the internet. As your organisation grows, your needs change and this flexible system enables you to expand and adapt the system as and when required, providing a long term cost-effective solution to environmental monitoring.
IceSpy assists with MHRA regulations The BasePlus hardware has been designed with a rolling display of sensor readings on loop for a quick glance at information whenever required. If there is an alarm condition, the display will automatically lock on the sensor in alarm and the unit will flash and optionally sounds a beep. The Base/Plus unit also provides users with an 8 hour battery backup of data in case of unexpected power loss, which critically avoids data loss and maintains historical records for auditing purposes. Typical hospital applications Application Fridge temperature monitoring between +2 C and +8 C or temperatures with blood fridges, and freezers down to -40 C Product Scout single channel transmitter, ScoutPlus-AC200 (dual temperature with Air & 200ml simulant Core temperature probes ScoutPlus-S5T15 transmitter fitted with external temperature probe for -40 C freezers An additional ScoutPlus-DOORD can be added to the system to monitor door events. The system will alarm if a door has been left open for a programmed period of time.
