Almost every homeowner would love to have a better lawn greener, denser, healthier. Prior to National Lawn Care month in April, these books can help with lawn evaluations and improvements. Some homeowners want alternatives to traditional lawns. Beautiful No-Mow Yards (Timber Press, 2012) showcases a diverse variety of possibilities. Many homeowners, concerned about the effect of chemicals, have turned to natural methods to keep their yards healthy and inviting. Organic Lawn Care Manual (Storey Pub., 2007) explains how to evaluate lawn care needs, create healthy soil, and select drought resistant grass. Affiliate News African Violet Society of Greater Tulsa The March meeting will be held on Monday, March 17th. This year the theme will be taken from Alice in Wonderland and will be a Mad Hatters tea.
