Our Product Range: Spray Dryer: Spray dryers are offered for feeds in liquid form containing either water or any other solvent. Feeds may be solution, slurry or emulsion. Depending on the particle size of the final product required and the nature of feed any one or combination of following atomization system is used. Two fluid atomization High pressure single fluid atomization Rotary disc atomizers Rotary Disc Atomisation A high speed rotating disc is used for atomizing the liquid feed. The disc throws the liquid outward tangentially at high velocities forming fine droplets / mist by impacting with relatively slow moving hot air. Instant drying takes place due to extremely large surface area to volume ratio converting liquid/slurries into free flowing dry powder. Discs design in dimensions of 60mm, 100mm, 160 mm, 250 mm, 300 mm and 350 mm The spray dryers having water evaporation capacity ranging from 1kg/hr to 9,000 kg/hr can be offered and supplied. Nozzle Atomisation: Feed solution or slurry at high pressure is atomized through a nozzle into fine droplets and then dried instantaneously. Various types of airflow patterns are possible with nozzle atomization systems. Nozzle type spray dryers are used to produce material in the granular, non-dusty or powder form as required. Wall cooling arrangements are provided on Spray Chambers handling products of thermoplastic nature. The arrangements include and external cooling air jacket and / or internal rotating arms with air jets to form AIr Bloom on the chamber wall.

Flash Dryers: Flash Dryers are used for drying of wet cakes, crystals or granular products, sticky or non-sticky in nature. Different variations of flash dryers available depending upon the need to disperse the wet cake or pastes. Spin Flash Dryers: This consists of a horizontal agitator, which disperses the feed while it comes in contact with the hot air and gets dried. The wet feed is fed at the center of the rotating cage, where it comes in contact with hot air. The rotating cage disperses the feed while drying. Cage mill flash dryers: For lumpy materials size reduction is required to enhance the drying rate. These are ideally suited for such applications. Due to very low residence time in the range of 0.5 to 2 seconds in the flash dryers, heat sensitive products can be easily dried without degradation. Rotary Dryers: The rotary dryer consists of a rotating drum with angle lifting blades which lift the feed as the drum rotates and showers it in the stream of hot air flowing through the drum. Rotary Dryers are available with co-current or counter current air flow patterns depending on the properties of individual products to be dried. GMP plants are offered for pharmaceutical, food, and biochemical applications. Fluidised Bed Dryers: Fluid Bed Dryers are offered in static as well as Vibratory Design and are used for amorphous/ crystalline products with relatively close particle size distribution. The process air is supplied to the bed through a special perforated distributor plate and flows through the bed of solids at a velocity sufficient to support the weight of particles in a fluidized state. Bubbles form and collapse within the fluidized bed of material, promoting intense particle movement. Reactors: Manil Engineers designs, engineers and manufactures customized Reactors, Kettles and Agitated Vessels for blending, dissolving, reacting or in some instances a combination thereof. The dimensions & operating conditions will be as per Customer s requirements. The Equipment can be fitted with propeller, turbine, paddle, helical or anchor type agitator. For high viscosity products, double action agitator arrangement can also be supplied. Manil Engineers agitators are designed based upon individual process conditions. The construction of agitators is effected, wherever possible, using commercially available components such as motors, couplings, reducers & shaft seals etc so as to increase the availability of spares in local market in case of emergency. Manil Engineers fabricates equipments from Standard & Low alloy carbon steel, Austenitic Stainless Steel and other alloy steels, in either solid or clad construction depending on process requirements with view of cost considerations. The equipments are normally offered under standard QAP Inspection Plan or under Third Party Inspection, as necessary. Storage Tanks: Manil Engineers designs, engineers and manufactures customized Storage Tanks required in the process plants for storage of various liquids. Equipments can be offered with Jacket or Limpet. The equipment can be either vertical, with legs / lugs or skirt support, or in horizontal disposition with saddle supports. Manil Engineers fabricates equipments from Standard & Low carbon steel, Stainless Steel and other alloy steels, of either solid or clad construction depending on design requirements and cost considerations. The equipments are covered under standard QAP under third party inspection.

Heat Exchangers & Mixers: Heat Exchangers: Manil Engineers designs, engineers and manufactures customized Shell & Tube type Heat Exchangers and Condensers to meet individual customers process requirements meeting TEMA Class R, C or B code requirements. Mechanical designs are utilizing computer software that would allow optimum performance. Manil Engineers fabricates equipments from Standard & Low carbon steel, Stainless Steel and other alloy steels, of either solid or clad construction depending on design requirements and cost considerations. The equipments are covered under standard QAP under third party inspection. Nauta Mixers: Cone screw mixer consists of a conical container which houses a continuous flight screw. The screw rotates about it's own axis and revolves along the walls of the cone. The material of widely differing densities and particle shapes and sizes are mixed homogenously without any degradation. Fragile filaments and flakes are safe from degradation and mixing is accomplished with minimal heat build-up and aeration in the product. The floor space required for this type of mixer is very less. The mixer can be started on full load. Due to the conical shape the unloading of the material is helped by gravity and is complete without any hold-up. Addition of liquids is easily possible Typical applications include dyes, herbal, pharmaceutical, plastic, food, ceramic, agricultural products, shampoos, tooth paste, chocolates, gelatins etc.

Conical Blender: Conical blender consists of a conical vessel with a double start helix ribbon mounted on central shaft. This type of blender is used for mixing, granulation and homogenizing applications. It handles a range of applications from all types of powders including free flowing to cohesive and moist powders, bulk dry materials to wet cakes and slurries. Mixing time depends on the ribbon speed. The rotating central agitator shaft does not have bottom bearing support thereby eliminating any dead spots or difficult areas to clean and there is no possibility of product contamination. Ribbon Blenders: Ribbon Blenders are available from Lab model to Heavy duty model. Ribbon Blender is a light duty blender, useful for easy mixing powder components it is a LOW SHEAR Mixer, most commonly used for SOLID/SOLID, SOLID/LIQUID Mixing and when high shearing force is not required. Its counter flow helicoids flight mounted on shaft ensuring gentle mixing. Blades are designed for triple action mixing to suit product end characteristics. Bag Filters: Bag filters are effected for controlling air pollution as per norms of PCB. The dust-laden air enters the bag filter bustle. The air is uniformly distributed avoiding channeling. Initially a coat of material forms on the bags. Subsequently, the coat acts as the filtering medium. The dust is accumulated on filter elements while the air passes through the filter bags from outside to inside. The accumulated powder is dislodged from the bags by reverse pulse-jet air or by mechanical shaking intermittently. n The dislodged powder falls on bottom cone and is discharged through powder discharge valves.
