2015 Ohio EPA Water and Sewer Rate Survey 2015 Average Annual Sewer Rate $655 4.4% increase over the 2014 rates 2015 Average Annual Water Rate $592 3.5% increase over the 2014 rates

Sewer & Water Rate Increases Of the 418 sewer systems that completed the survey, 170 reported rate increases (40%) Of the 420 water systems that completed the survey, 184 reported rate increases (44%) Tip: Sign up for google alerts to be notified of any potential increases in your area

How did the EPA calculate the annual rates? To standardize sewer and water rates across Ohio and to allow for comparisons among systems, the rates were calculated on an assumed level of consumption. Annual Rates were calculated for residential customers within municipal limits, assuming that a household consisted of three (3) people individually consuming 85 gallons of water each day Monthly = 7,756 gallons Bi-Monthly = 15,512 gallons Quarterly = 23,268 gallons
