Filler Panel Kits k When replacing a range hood, filler panel kits fill in the additional width to provide a custom built-in appearance. For installation between cabinets only; not for end-of-cabinet installation. Each kit contains two wide filler panels. Charcoal Filter Kits JXL C Kit Filter kits are used when the oven cannot be vented to the outside. THE CHARCOAL FILTER Remove screws on top of microwave oven, just above the grille panel, using a Phillips screwdriver. If two screws are not accessible, see section A. Open the door. Remove the grille. Note: This product should not be installed over any cooktop range with a combined BTU greater than,000 BTUs. MOUNTING SPACE Insert the top of the filter up and into the grooves on both sides of the inside of the top opening. Once you have cleared the bottom tab, push the bottom of the filter in until it rests in place behind the tab. Grooves in Microwave for Filter on Each Side Filter (dashed to show details of groves) ¾ max. -½ 0 0 min. Replace the bulb with part number WBX00. Oven Door Service The door can be removed from the oven after removing the top vent trim. Open the door to a 0 degree angle to the case and lift to release it from the hinge pins. The door components can be replaced independently or as an complete assembly. Bottom Tab Control Panel Access Door Switches To remove the control panel, remove a single Phillips screw located behind the top of the panel; visible through a small vent slot in the top panel trim. PRIMARY S/W MONITOR S/W DOOR SENSE S/W Removal of the control panel allows access to: Control Panel Door Switch Holder Interlock Switches Hood Thermostat Access to the Magnetron, Magnetron Fan, Blower, Capacitor, Diode, and HV Capacitor all require de-installation of the oven and the removal of the case wrapper. the high voltage transformer when the door is open. line to neutral in case the power relay on the control board is closed when the door is opened, which could result in blowing the line fuse. trol that the door is closed and the unit is ready to microwave.
Door Switches, Continued A Primary P r i mswitch a r y S w i t c h A. Closed circuit when the door is closed, open circuit when the door is open. B. Open circuit when the door is closed, closed circuit with door open. C. Same function as switch A. B Monitor Switch Cavity TCO The Cavity TCO is a thermal cut out and disables oven operation when the top cavity duct temperature reaches 0 degrees. This provides protection for the microwave in case oven cavity. The cavity TCO is non-resettable. Cavity TCO - Replacement C Secondary Switch The interlock switches are not adjustable. cavity with two screws. IMPORTANT: Check for microwave leakage after replacing or adjusting the door. Thermostats and Thermal Cut Outs Cavity TCO Magnetron TCO The Cavity TCO is located on the top side behind a plastic door. The TCO is tightly held to the top of the cavity by a spring clip. It can be accessed without removing the unit from uninstall the oven and remove the outer case. Turn Table Motor Hood TCO The opens the line voltage to the the oven. It opens at 0 degrees and is non-resettable. Hood TCO blower if the bottom of the unit reaches degrees. The vent blower will turn off when the bottom cools to 0 degrees. It is normal for the fan to operate after the oven is turned off. To Service the Motor Disconnect power and remove bottom plate connect the turntable motor wire. Remove motor.
Smart Board The Smart Board contains the Relay, Blower Triac, Relays and other load controls. There are three connectors located on the smart board: CN - Ribbon Connector CN - Door Sensing Switch CN00-0 volt load outputs WARNING 000V, RISK OF DEATH Always be certain the capacitor is discharged before servicing. Mechanically discharge by placing an insulated handle screw driver between the diode connection of the capacitor and oven chassis ground. NOTE:u se screw head close to capacitor to insure ground metal contact. Key Panel ERROR MESSAGE Display Signal: MAY BE NEEDED n Keypanel shorted continuously for 0 seconds. Clock - Touch clock pad one time, enter time of day. Alternately, touch each function pad and enter time, power level or selected function. Touch CANCEL/OFF after each function test to clear. Repeat procedure for each pad. Control and display should respond to each entry. Display should revert to -Of-Day after each cancel. If pads do not respond, clean and reseat ribbon, perform key panel test to verify pad operation if needed.
