IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following: ENGLISH 1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS. 2. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not place cord, plugs, or appliance in water or other liquid. 3. Children should not operate this appliance and close supervision is necessary when used near children. 4. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning. 5. Avoid contact with moving parts. 6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, after the appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any way. Return to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or electrical / mechanical adjustment. 7. The use of unauthorized attachments, includeing ice box or ice cone holder not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury. 8. Do not use outdoors. 9. Do not hang cord over the edge of table or counter. 10. Keep cord away from hot surfaces, such as a stove. 11. Do not use if blades are broken, cracked or loose. 12. Do not leave appliance unattended while operating. 13. Always check ice cup for foreign objects before using. 14. This snow cone maker is turned ON or OFF by pressing or releasing the button located on top of the unit. 1
ENGLISH 15. This snow cone maker has an AUTO OFF feature, which will stop the unit automatically once the ice cup empties. 16. The unit will not work unless the ice cup is filled with ice. 17. Blade is sharp. Use extreme caution during assembly, while operating, disassembly and cleaning. 18. Keep hands and utensils out of the ice cup while operating to reduce the risk of injury or damage to unit. 19. Never place finger or other utensils into feed or discharge areas. 20. Do not run the appliance continuously for more than three minutes as overheating may occur. Allow motor to cool before each use. 21. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven. 22. Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended use. 23. To disconnect, release pressure on the switch, then remove plug from wall outlet. 24. This appliance has a polarized plug(one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. ENGLISH USING YOUR SNOW CONE MAKER GETTING STARTED Unpack the Blizzy Snow Cone Maker and place it on a flat countertop. Handle the shaving blade with caution. DO NOT touch the blade. Wash the ice shaver cup carefully. Rinse and dry thoroughly. If using paper cones, be sure that the cone holder is locked into place. Remove the cone holder by lifting genty upwards from the base if you would like to use a large bowl. USING THE SNOW CONE MAKER 1. Place the base on a flat, level surface. 2. Insert the ice cup so the arrows align on the cup and the ring, facing forward. 3. Fill the ice cup with ice cubes. Do not fill past the MAX line. If the ice cup is overfilled the unit will not function. 4. Place a cone into the cone holder, or remove the cone holder and place bowl below the ice bucket. 5. The motor may be aligned in any direction in the ice cup. Make sure the motor grooves are aligned with the ice bucket grooves. 6. Plug in the unit and press firmly downward with both hands on the power button. 7. To stop, release power button. The motor will automatically switch off when ice cup is empty. 8. Add your favorite syrup to the snow cone and enjoy! 9. Unplug the unit immediately after use. Remove ice cup and clean before storing. 4
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE & STORAGE CLEANING & MAINTENANCE Always unplug the ice shaver before cleaning. It is recommended to rinse parts immediately after use. CAUTION: Use extreme care when handling blades. Never touch the blades with your fingers. The motor base may be wiped with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry thoroughly. WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE MOTOR IN WATER. ENGLISH STORAGE Unplug and clean unit. Store in a clean, dry place. Never store snow cone maker while still hot or plugged in. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance or put stress on the cord, especially where the cord enters the unit, as this could cause the cord to fray and/or break.
