Design Concept Stylish and affordable hotels that open the door to a new world of well-being and sensations. Designed in a modern contemporary style befitting the new trends in hotel design, Neo Hotels offer uncluttered open space that creates an atmosphere of relaxation and revitalization in a trendy but reasonably priced environment. Neo hotels are non-smoking hotels inside a smoking area should be provided with some outdoor seating, beside the coffee shop for example.

Design Concept The Neo rooms are standardized but flexible, however all brand standards need to be followed. Refer to the Neo room checklist for more details. The interior design is flexible as long as it follows the brand requirements and Neo design concept. Neo Hotels are typically 100 to 150 rooms in size and have the usual facilities and services one would normally expect to find in a 3 star hotel, such as coffee shop, meeting rooms and parking space. A normal 100 room neo hotel would need around 1500 2000sqm of land. The cost to build is between IDR 400 million and IDR 450 million per room bay. Design time usually takes two to three months and following one or two months of bidding, from ground breaking to soft opening can normally be done in around one year.

Façade Design Concept The Hotel Neo facade design should be simple, clean and modern with white and grey as dominant colors and black as an accent. Neon signs and lighting should be used.

The wall covering should be washable paint. The ceiling should be covered with painted gypsum. Flooring must be carpet tiles - except for semi-outdoor corridors which can use non-slippery Homogenous tiles. Skirting should be plywood finish duco paint with light grey colour. The lighting could be recessed down light in the middle, or could be wall mounted. There should be one lamp in front of each door and shaft, which is separated on two switch grouping. After 9pm there should only be front door lamp turned on. It is preferable to have window and opening on each corridor's ending to maximize the natural light and fresh air into the building.

Meeting Room Consideration must be given when designing for successful meetings. Room size should be a minimum of 60sqm, with a rectangular shape to allow for several arrangements and efficient circulation. Small alcoves are good places to provide refreshments and for acoustic use. It s best to put doors on both sides of the room. Use soundproof, removable padded partitions to divide the rooms for smaller meetings, and use carpet tiles for the floor.

Back of House The back of house space in a Hotel Neo is made as efficient as possible but needs to follow the design standard so it works efficiently.
