Welcome aboard the vessel, Fourplay!! 2006 Meridian 368 Motoryacht Overall length = 38 10 (40 0, including dingy) Overall beam = 13 7 Draft = 3 6 Bridge clearance = 14 0 Fuel capacity = 250 Gallons (two 125 gallon tanks starboard / port) Fresh water capacity = 90 gallons Waste holding tank capacity = 50 gallons Welcome and please enjoy your vacation. You will find that the vessel is very comfortable and clean. We take very good pride in owning and maintaining the vessel in excellent condition. Below is a list of systems with an associated descriptions and directions on basic operation of the vessel. Most of the vessels systems have a complete manufacturer s operating manual on board. If the below system summary and the manufactures manuals do not clarify or resolve a question or issue, please contact AYC for assistants. The white softback Meridian Yachts 368 Motoryacht Owner s Manual is best reference guide to use. A number of the questions and system locations you will need to research will be by using that document. General Notes and Owner s Request: This vessel is tall and hence is difficult to manage in winds above 10 to 15 knots while docking. If the conditions are windy (above 20 knots of wind), foggy and at night, just stay safe where every you are. The vessel does not manage heavy waves that also due to the size and weight. Better cruising conditions are just a few hours or a day away. Please do not travel with wind waves larger than 4 feet. Cruising in the Puget Sound is magical, but floating debris is very common and you must keep scanning the water in your path. Logs and fishing buoys are common obstacles to avoid. The vessel travels at a few rpm levels nicely. A slow cruise is traveling at 1200 rpm s to 1600 rpm s. A medium cruise is from 1700 to 2200 rpm s not in a plane. If you need to get going 2300 rpm s to 2500 rpm s maximum rpm s. Use the trim tabs and level out to a 5% degree cruising level. Please do not max out the engines and even out the rpm s of the two engines for a smooth ride. Thought out the week, please wash the exterior of the vessel to ensure the salt and diesel from the fiberglass topcoat. No pets or smoking is allowed on the vessel at anytime. Enjoy your time on Fourplay. Manuals, Tools and Spare Part Locations: 1. System literature and manuals are located inside the entertainment cabinet located in the salon under the TV. 2. Tools are located under the couch section closest to the entertainment cabinet. Lift the cushion and set aside.

The vessel has a 50 foot 50 amp electrical cord with a 50 to 30 amp convert, which plug into a docks electrical service. 2. Prior to plugging the vessel into any dock electrical discount, please ensure that the dock system s breaker is in the off position. 3. Secure both ends are plugged in and the cord is not hanging into the water. 4. The main electrical panel and breakers are located in the main salon area, behind the double wood doors. The electrical panel is separated into two halves. The AC electrical systems side and the DC electrical systems side. The AC electrical system works off the vessel s battery system. The DC electrical system works from either a

30 or 50 amp shore electrical disconnect or the on board diesel generator. Only use the generator at anchor or at a dock without electrical service. 5. Double check that the DC side (right) side of the panel board, has minimal electrical load turned on and the ship s power is in the correct position. (Opposite to the generate position) 6. Turn on the dock s discount breaker; confirm you have power to the DC side of the panel board. Turn on vessel systems as required for use only. 7. Manage your power loads. Not all systems can be turned on and used, as you will trip the breaker. Sanitary System Vacuflush System 1. Ensure the fresh water pump electrical switch is turned on at the main electrical panel. 2. Ensure the head electrical switch is turned on at the main electrical panel. 3. The toilet system is operated using the foot pedal on the side of the bowl. 4. Lift up to add water and push down and hold for five second to clear toilet bowl. 5. Once all materials are clear from the bowl, lift the foot pedal to add a minimum of 2 inches of water. The water helps the toilet bowl hold a seal, as the vacuum system is allows trying to add pressure to ensure no odors come back up from the holding tank. 6. The holding tank is under the metal platform within the engine room. The pump out is located on the Starboard side deck area. 7. Please limit the use of toilet paper! If you use the amount that you use at home, it will clog the system. Please use the garbage can lined with a plastic bag for excess toilet paper use. Also, no female products are to be flushed into the system. 8. On the main electrical panel, turn on the switch that monitors the fresh water and sanitary holding tank. If the system is reading more than 60%, please schedule a pump out ASAP. Reaching a high level of sanitary holding may cause additional odor. 9. If you hear a pumping sound during the night that means one of the bowls does not have enough water in it and the seal has been broken. Fill the bowl with water and you may turn off the vacuum system until it is used the next time. Frige/Freezer: 1. The refrigerator / freeze shall remain on at all times. There is a switch on both the DC and AC side of the main electrical panel. When at dock, make sure the shore power switch is on. Ice-Marker: Located on upper deck 1. Turn on the engine room blowers for a minimum of three minutes Upper helm. Double check to confirm the vessels transmission is in neutral and the power is in the low position. Within the main electrical panel cabinet there are two keys. Turn on, you will hear a buzzer sound until the engine are running in an idle speed. Move to the top helm area. After the engine s pre heating operation is completed, the two lights on the dash will turn off. Once the lights are off, start engines. Hold the start buttons down for a maximum of five seconds. Stop. Try again. Repeat as required. The port side starts up within one or two attempts. The starboard side starts up within up to five attempts. The engines will have a little white smoke for about five minutes. If the boats continues to smoke heavily or black or colored smoke, please schedule a mechanic for inspection at the next full service marina in your trip. The engine blower shall remain on until the vessel is traveling in open water at an rpm of 1000 or more.

Turning off the Vessel: 1. Ensure the vessel s engine room blowers are on prior to slowing down the vessel to enter into the marina or bay. When the vessel is safely and secured at a dock or the anchor, press the buttons on the left hand of the steering wheel. Move the main electrical panel located in the salon. Turn the two keys to the off position. The buzzer noise should turn off. The engine room blowers shall remain on for a minimum of five minutes, but not longer than 15 minutes. Aft and Bow Thrusters: 1. The vessel is equipped with both bow and aft thrusters. The control system is located on the upper right hand of the dash. Dock on Command in a shape of a boat hull. Turn on by holder the two buttons at the same time. The system will turn off after five minutes with no use, so be aware of the elapse time as you travel into the marina! I make it a practice to make sure it is turned on every three minutes. When you need them, use them! Please do not use the thrusters for more than one minute at a time. Can burnout and are expensive they are not a toy for the kids! GPS and Depth Sounder: Do not operate the vessel in water less than 10 of depth 1. Turn on the GPS breaker on the right hand breaker line up. 2. Remove the plastic cover and store in the small dash locker. 3. Press the power button on the GPS unit. 4. Press the exit button two times and the unit should pick up the current position of the vessel. The unit is accurate within 3 yards. In order for the vessel to be located in the middle of the screen, push the exit button and it should return the pre set screen set up. 5. An alarm will sound if you enter water less than 10 feet in depth. You can silent the alarm manually or once you enter into water deeper than 10 feet. VHF: 1. On the right hand side of the captain, the VHF is located. While underway, keep the VHF on channel 16 and use in it only in case of emergency. 2. Several marina VHF channels are found on a laminated sheet in the small locker on the dash. Call the marina for slip assignments and help via their VHF channel. 3. Press the red button on the VHF in case of an emergency. It will send out an emergency call and send your latitude and longitude location to various agencies. Zipper Windows: bimini system 1. Lower, roll up and used snap straps to open up the windows around the upper helm and lower outside deck. 2. NOTE In windy conditions, open all of the windows to allow the air to travel thru the helm and reduce the surface area for the wind to push the boat sideways when maneuvering the vessel.
