Introduction I am a visual designer with 15+ years of interior and graphic design experience. Upon completion of an interior design degree I went to work in architectural firms designing commercial interiors, with an emphasis on luxury brand retail store design. New York City, alive with lush retail environs, provided the setting for designing beautiful and engaging customer experiences. I then turned my sights closer to home, with my own freelance design firm, Drew Gray Design, with a focus on graphics, color and landscape design. During the past 4 years I worked on a program development team to research and design curriculum for a federally funded grant project in the public schools, a challenging and gratifying project. Today, a designer must be versatile and familiar with all phases of a project in order to create a great user experience. My skills in research, design programming, development of visual design layouts, both in 2D and 3D, management of copy and content, such as typography and images, editing and curating with a great attention to detail, will make me a dynamic and productive part of a design team. On the management side, I have overseen project budgets, C+M, and FF+E for interior and graphics projects. In 2010 I launched a digital media design project, Bijouxs Little Jewels from the Kitchen, a digital cookbook. I am responsible for ideation, branding, and create all content on the website, which includes photography, styling, and marketing via social media platforms. Next up, is the first Bijouxs ipad app, with a release by mid-2103. My portfolio of projects contains a sample of my design work, demonstrating where I have been and my versatility as a designer. I am an innovative thinker and a proven entrepreneur with a can-do attitude who has successfully designed a diverse portfolio of visual projects. Thank you for taking time to consider my portfolio. I look forward to hearing from you. Lynn Marie Gray

Bijouxs Little Jewels from the Kitchen I launched the Bijouxs Little Jewels from the Kitchen project in late 2010. The project is designed to explore the possibility of creating an online digital cookbook based on a traditional cookbook project I designed. The core of Bijouxs is to share my little jewel collection of recipes, carefully curated over decades, and visually bring readers into the everyday beauty all around us, right in our kitchens. Bijouxs is a way of seeing, a designer s view into the art of home cooking and celebrating the beautiful essentials. I am the creative director, creating the brand identity and all content photography, styling, editorial, recipe development, and social media/marketing. The Bijouxs digital home is a clean, decidedly modern site, utilizing classic typography along with thoughtful elements, such as a pop-up recipe card to use on your mobile device while shopping at the market or cooking at home. Note: I did not contribute to programming of the website.
Bijouxs ipad The soon-to-be Bijouxs Recipe Collection app for the ipad is a natural offspring of the Bijouxs website. It s a digital cookbook, complete with lush food photography delivered beautifully courtesy of the ipad. I am creating the Bijouxs ipad recipe collection with Adobe Digital Publishing Suite. After completion of the Digital Publishing for ipad course at Art Center College of Design, I now have added this new media and interactive design skill set. I am the creative director, responsible for the creation of all photography, styling and recipe content, as well as layout and design.
Bijouxs ipad The screens maintain the clean layout and simple functionality established by the Bijouxs brand website. The user is at once familair with the app, which functions much like a traditional cookbook, therefore minimal navigation is necessary. As readers aquaint themelves with the product more interactive features can be introduced.
Food Photography Oh, the luscious world of food! On my website, Bijouxs Little Jewels from the Kitchen, I celebrate the simple, elegant beauty all around us right here in our kitchens. I turn my designer eye to the camera lens to capture images that reflect stylish moments preparing, cooking and serving luscious food. Organic spring asparagus, with thin delicate stalks arrives wrapped in white crinoline, cinched at the waist, looking beautiful without even a stitch of makeup. -BIJOUXS NO. 53 HIGH SOCIETY ASPARAGUS

Interior Design The Lahina Cannery project called for creating a unique shopping destination from an abandoned pineapple cannery. To bring an outdoor street atmosphere indoors, the team coordinated with onsite architects in Hawaii to utilize salvaged materials such as corrugated sheet metal in the interior finishes, along with street signs and mature landscape plantings. As an interior designer on the project, I created design elevations, C+M specifications and interior signage/graphics package. Project: MCG Architects. Renderings by staff artist.
