NC 23B - NC 23S/32S BENCH TOP STEAM STERILIZERS Small steam sterilizers are widely used for the sterilization of the products used for medical purposes, e.g in general medical practices, dentistry, facilities for personel hygiene and beauty care and also veterinary practices. EN 13060, European Standard for small steam sterilizers, specifies the general requirements for small steam sterilizers and test methods for specified sterilizer loads. The sterilization of the loads are classified in three classes of cycles. B, N and S. NC 40M/90M LABORATORY STEAM STERILIZERS NC 40M / NC 90M laboratory steam sterilizers are specially designed for the steam sterilization of liquid and culture media and also convenient for the sterilization of any labware such as glass and plastics and unpacked solid materials in the laboratories of hospitals, universities and pharmaceutical, food, beverage, dairy and biotechnology industries. STANDARD FEATURES FOR LIQUID STERILIZATION Flexible temperature sensor to measure the temperature of the liquid load directly as the time required to reach the sterilization temperature of liquid is longer compared to solid loads. Cooling function with ambient air ventilation over the chamber that decreases the cooling time of liquid loads to the one third of time spent by conventional systems. Condensation of steam at the end of the cycle by means of air ventilated cooling system to prevent a sudden drop in the chamber pressure which causes re-boiling. Besides the power consumption, high amount of water is used to produce steam and to condense and cool down the steam at the end of the cycle. Steam Sterilizer with a chamber capacity of 500 litres, has approximately 500 litres water consumption per cycle in a classic system. Different than the classical method to condense and cool down the steam, an innovative system is used in NC series Steam Sterilizers: AIR-COOLING. The steam is condensed and cooled down while passing through a condenser which is cooled by ambient air.
