Please read this instruction manual thoroughly before operating it in order to use the fan correctly and efficiently. Working Elements The Electric Mist Fan uses ultrasonic vibration elements, which atomizes the water to 1 5 micro ultra particles and spreads mist to the air through wind. Plastic tube Firmly place the fan on the ground then add water inside the water tank according to the six steps below: Note:
Do not take out the water tank before unplugging the power cord plug. Hot water (40 and above) should not be added in the water tank. Do not add dirty water or any additives (such as perfume, essential oil and mosquito repel, etc.), instead add clean drinking water or purified water to ensure longer life for the humidifier. 1. Insert plug to the electrical outlet, make sure that the indicator light is on as shown below. 2. Press ON/SPEED/OFF button on the fan body, to choose the wind speed Low, Med, High that matches the corresponding light on the control panel. Press this button again to switch off the fan and all fan functions return to original state. However, independent operation buttons are available. 3. Press SWING button on fan body or remote controller, to change the wind direction, meanwhile the corresponding light switches on. Press this button again to stop oscillation. 4. Press MIST button on fan body or remote controller, the mist will spread out from the front mist plate, meanwhile the corresponding light switches on. Press this button again to stop this function. MIST button can be used separately, or work together with the fan, and this produce the feel of cool wind. If the mist function is used separately, it can increase humidity in the air. 5. Press ION button on fan body or remote controller, the negative ions generated by the ionizer emanate from the unit throughout the room and cause dust, pollen, mold spores, pet dander, etc. to clump together and drop out of the air, meanwhile the corresponding light switches on. Press this button again to stop this function. ION button can be used separately, or work together with the fan.
Note: After a period of running the negative ion, there will be little dirty around the orifice of negative ion generator, it is the effect of negative ion which is normal phenomenon, you may clean it by yourself. 6. Press TIMER button on remote controller, to set the fan running time between 1 6 hours and switches the fan off after preset time. To set a time of 1 hour you need to press the button once and to set 6 hours of running time you need to press 6 times and the number of hour will be changed every time, meanwhile the corresponding light switches on. 7. Press WIND button on remote controller, to choose the wind type, meanwhile the corresponding light switches on. 8. Press " OFF " button on remote controller, it switches off the fan and all fan functions return to original state. However, independent operation buttons are available. 9. Remote Control: must be aimed the infrared port (see FIG right side) when in use. If the remote control doesn t work, please first check the inside battery and change them to new batteries if needed. Note: Change the batteries with new and same types. Otherwise your remote control may not operate properly. Remove the batteries out of the remote control if you won t use the remote control for a long time. Make sure this appliance and the power cord is not damaged before operating. In case of damage, please consult to your authorized technical service provider. 2. Wet hands are not allowed and dangerous to pull out the plug from the electrical outlet with them in that condition. 3. It is not allowed and dangerous to touch the water and any parts in the water when this appliance is working. 4. Do not insert any object into guard and mist spray hole to avoid destroying this appliance. 5. The plug must be removed from the electrical outlet when not operating and before moving, installing, uninstalling and cleaning. 6. Do not pull the plug while the power is on. Always ensure that the plug is fully inserted into the electrical outlet before operating. 7. Do not take out the water tank before unplugging the power cord plug. 8. Do not add any chemical or metal ingredient into the water tank or flume, these materials are dangerous and may cause problems.
9. Safety water level switch shall be cut off automatically when the water tank lacks water in order to protect the ultrasonic transducer. For continuous use, add water. 10. Babies, old people and people suffering from valetudinarianism are not fit for being directly under the fan wind for a long period of time. 11. This appliance must be used under the rated voltage and frequency as indicated in rating label. 12. Do not disassemble, repair or modify this appliance on your own, warranty shall be voided if repair is carried out by an unauthorized person/agency. 13. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid any hazard. 14. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are under supervision or given instructions concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. 15. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. 1. Please pull off the power cord plug from the electrical outlet and make sure that your fan is not operating before cleaning it. 2. Please clean the water tank every two to three weeks, and the flume every week. 3. Please take out the water tank when cleaning it, and pull plastic tube out of the atomizing cup properly, then take out the atomizing cup and clean it. 4. Use a dry cloth to absorb remaining water when cleaning the ultrasonic atomizer and dry it using a piece of soft cloth. Or use mild detergent to clean the ultrasonic atomizer if it is dirty. 5. Please add a few drops of lubricant to the motor shaft after cleaning to extend motor life every year. 6. If you are not using this appliance, pack it properly and store it in a cool dry place. Special detergent for ultrasonic humidifier Function: This special detergent is used to clean the ultrasonic transducer in the flume. It can remove water furring to ensure better performance and longer life for the humidifier. Usage: Put 2 3 drops on the ultrasonic transducer, wait for 1 minute, scrub it with the brush, wash gently with clean water, then use a clean and soft cloth to dry it. Cautions: Do not let the detergent spatter on your skin and clothes or into your mouth and eyes. If it happens, wash immediately with clean water. Keep this detergent away from direct sunlight and heat

Home of Living Brands (Pty) Limited ( Home of Living Brands ) warrants to the original purchaser of this product ( the customer ) that this product will be free of defects in quality and workmanship which under normal personal, family or household use and purpose may manifest within a period of 1 (one) year from the date of purchase ( warranty period ). 2. Where the customer has purchased a product and it breaks, is defective or does not work properly for the intended purpose, the customer must notify the supplier from whom the customer bought the product ( the supplier ) thereof within the warranty period. Any claim in terms of this warranty must be supported by a proof of purchase. If proof of purchase is not available, then repair, and/or service charges may be payable by the customer to the supplier. 3. The faulty product must be taken to the supplier's service centre to exercise the warranty. 4. The supplier will refund, repair or exchange the product in terms of this warranty subject to legislative requirements. This warranty shall be valid only where the customer has not broken the product himself, or used the product for something that it is not supposed to be used for. The warranty does not include and will not be construed to cover products damaged as a result of disaster, misuse, tamper, abuse or any unauthorised modification or repair of the product. 5. This warranty will extend only to the product provided at the date of the purchase and not to any expendables attached or installed by the customer. 6. If the customer requests that the supplier repairs the product and the product breaks or fails to work properly within 3 (three) months of the repair and not as a result of misuse, tampering or modification by or on behalf of the customer, then the supplier may replace the product or pay a refund to the customer. 7. The customer may be responsible for certain costs where products returned are not in the original packaging, or if the packaging is damaged.
