Getinge 8666/8668 Washer Disinfectors Product specification PRODUCT The Getinge 8666/8668 are fully automatic, microprocess controlled, washer disinfectors. The washers are identical except for the depht of the chamber. The 8668 is 80 mm deeper, enabling 15 DIN trays to be washed (8666 washes 12 DIN trays). Processing cycles are factory programmed with recommended treatment parameters for pre-rinsing, cleaning, post-rinsing, thermal disinfection, final rinsing and drying. Validated programs are secured by an access code. Detergents and rinse agents are automatically dispensed during cycle. The Getinge 8666/8668 are available as single or double door models, both with either manually or automatically operated doors. If the disinfector has not completed a full cycle, the doors cannot be opened. DESIGN FEATURES Spray arms are fixed at the top and bottom of the chamber. Wash carts are equipped with spray arms between each shelf in order to allow water and detergent to reach and clean all surfaces. Wash carts are automatically connected to water and drying air supply. The drying air is pre-heated in a unique heat exchanger before being heated to its optimum drying capacity. This energy-saving process means shorter drying times. The 8666 /8668 is as standard, equipped with independent temperature monitoring and validation test port according to pren 15883. Data interface RS232 + RS485 are standard as well as differential pressure monitoring of HEPA filter. Test ports for water and HEPA filter are standard features. DOSING PUMPS As standard two dosing pumps for process chemicals are supplied but a 3rd and 4th pump can be chosen. The 3rd pump may be used for either instrument lubrication or enzyme wash. The 4th dosing pump is always used for chemical disinfection. The 4th dosing pump is always delivered together with dosing pump 3.
