SATURDAY HORTICULTURE SHOW, AUGUST 25TH ADULTS & JUNIORS (16 & UNDER) WELCOMED IN ALL CLASSES TREES, SHRUBS, PLANTS AND FLOWERS Entry Fee $1.00 In Section A as many entries as desired may be made in each class providing each is a different variety and is so labeled. Labeling varieties of a class increases their value in the judging process. Please use work tables for set-up. All exhibits must be in place by 8:15 A.M. SHARP Saturday morning. Plants may be removed Sun. night between 9-10 pm. These classes will be judged by Horticulturists. Containers supplied by the Fair. The exhibitor will provide container for classes 164, 171, 172, 174, 225 and 176. Best of Class numbers: 146-147, 148a,b, 149a,b, 150a-150c, 154a-154b, 156-157a,b, 158, 159, 160-161, 162-163, 167-168, 171, 172, 173, 175, 176, 177-183, 184-189b, 190-196b, 201-207, 208-212, 213-224. Best of Show numbers: 146-175 except for classes 171, 172, 174, 175, 176, 177-183a,b, 225. Best of Show for floral display and/or arrangements. Classes 171, 172, 174 & 176, 225. Any evergreen tree or shrub bearing fruit or cone, cutting not to exceed 30" main branch length. Only One (1) branch 147. Please use appropriate liner to avoid leaks. Plants must be growing in container for a minimum of six weeks. Please use standard size mailbox not over sized. Judged for horticultural perfection. *176. 2018 Feature - Dutchess County Landmarks - A special bouquet or arrangement of exhibitor s choice. Container to be provided by the exhibitor. Foliage or other filler may be used. DAHLIAS EXHIBITOR IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MEASURING SIZE OF BLOOM AND ENTERING IN THE PROPER CLASS. ENTRY INTO WRONG CLASS IS SUBJECT TO DISQUALIFICATION.
