Safety Warnings - please read carefully! Before power connection, make sure your electricity supply is the same as the one shown on the packaging. The kettle will switch off automatically once boiled. You may switch the kettle off manually using the ON/OFF switch. Once boiled, the Double Wall Vacuum Construction will keep the water hot for up to 4 hours. ALWAYS place the kettle on a flat, stable surface. TAKE CARE when using the kettle - whilst the body and handle will remain comfortably cool, the base of the kettle may become hot during use. DO NOT boil the kettle dry. DO NOT immerse the kettle, power base or power cord in water or any other liquid. DO NOT allow liquid to penetrate the electrical parts of the kettle. DO NOT let the power cord hang down where a child could grab it or the kettle could be knocked over. DO NOT fill with water to more than the maximum level. DO NOT remove or open lid whilst the water is boiling. MAKE SURE the kettle is switched off before lifting it off the power base. AVOID contact with any steam coming out of the spout area when pouring and or/refilling. ONLY use the base and powercord supplied.

Although the lever mechanism on the lid is designed to limit spillage of hot water, it is NOT, for safety reasons, leakproof. The kettle SHOULD NOT be inverted when full. Spout Lid Twist lid anti-clockwise to open and clockwise to lock. On/Off switch Handle Before First Use Fill the kettle up to the Max Water Mark and bring to the boil. It is recommended that you fill, boil and empty the water at least 3 times to clear the kettle of any tiny particles or metal/ plastic taste. Using The Kettle Filling: Remove the kettle from the power base before filling. Remove the lid (as shown in the diagram above) and fill with water as required. DO NOT fill past the Max Water Mark. Switching On: Check that the lid is closed. Plug the power cord into the mains and press the On/Off switch. Switching Off: When the water has boiled, the kettle will automatically switch off. You can stop the boiling process manually at any time, simply by pressing the On/Off switch.
Care and Cleaning Firstly, read the instructions in the section entitled SAFETY WARNINGS. Before cleaning, unplug your kettle and allow to cool. Wipe with a damp cloth, then dry. AVOID using abrasive cleaning agents. DO NOT immerse the kettle, power base, power cord or plug in water at any time. The kettle, power base, power cord and plug are NOT Dishwasher Safe. ALWAYS unplug your kettle when not in use. Descaling The major cause of damage to kettles is limescale and your kettle will require regular maintenance to ensure that it continues to work properly. Limescale deposits build up over time, blocking important parts of the kettle and stopping it from working properly. Remember: Descale every few months. Don t wait for limescale to build up before you descale. You can buy descaler from many high street shops.
Guarantee This product is guaranteed against manufacturing defects for a period of 3000 cycles, equivalent to 2 years of average use. This does not cover the product where the fault is due to misuse, abuse, use in contravention of the instructions, or where the product has been the subject of unauthorised modifications or alterations. In the event of a problem with the product within the guarantee period, please return the product to the store you purchased it from. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
