Ltd. ECOLIGHT LLC ECOLIGHT is an innovative Russian manufacturer of LED lighting fixtures under ECOLIGHT brand. Since 2015, the company has developed and launched a new Arc Fault Detection Device (AFDD). The latest development will reduce the number of fires due to faults of electrical mains by more than 2 times. The main advantages of ECOLIGHT products are high quality, reliability and affordability. 2

Fire statistics In 2016, there were 139,700 fires in Russia, which killed 8,760 people, injured 9,909 people, and caused property damage for 14,324 bln rub. According to FSRI of the Ministry of Emergency of Russia, fires from electrical equipment countrywide include: 26%, at the enterprises of certain ministries and authorities; Share of fires from electrical installations reaches 38%; In residential buildings - 32%; In private houses up to 70% of fires is caused by electrical installations. Main causes of fires in electric systems and mechanisms 1. Arcing at big transition resistance (BTR) as the main current cause of fires in electrical mains. 2. Inflammation from parallel arcing. 4

Arc Fault Detection Device (AFDD) AFDD is in fact the third stage of development of electrical mains protection devices, following automatic circuit breakers and RCDs. It is installed in the distribution board on DIN-rail. It is equipped with AFDD-I control device designed to configure and verify functioning at the places of operation. AFDDs identify arc in the protected circuit and automatically disconnect it from the mains. 5

Standard equipment for protection of electrical circuits To protect electrical line the automatic circuit breakers are used for overcurrent protection (hereinafter ACB, see GOST R 50345-99), as well as circuit breakers operated by differential current (RCD, see GOST R IEC 60755 2012). Project support In July 2017, the working group of the Expert Council of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI) reviewed and approved for support the business project "Development of production of automated spark protection devices (AFDD) for preventing fires in electrical networks and electrical installations". In November 2016, the State Budgetary Institution of Moscow, the Moscow City Innovation Agency, decided to include the products of ECOLIGHT Ltd. in the list of innovative, high-tech products and technologies.
