Research And Development XGLab, spin off company of Politecnico di Milano, the leading Italian technical University, holds a leadership and innovative position in the field of radiation detectors and electronic instrumentation for X-Ray spectroscopic analysis and Gamma imaging. X and Gamma-Ray electronics XGLab offers complete radiation detector systems equipped with several types of detectors XGLab designs highly customized detection and measurement systems (including the detector, the related front-end and processing electronics, the software), suitable for scientific, biomedical, industrial and civil applications. XGLab s Research Group fuses different skills to achieve unique results XGLAB Design of sophisticated semiconductor detectors Development of low noise analog electronics for the readout of detectors Delivery of ready-tomarket solutions XGLab carries out the design and experimental characterization of a wide class of VLSI circuits dedicated to the readout and processing of the signals from semiconductor radiation detectors and optical photo detectors. Typical designs of XGLab are multi-channel and include the front-end as well as the processing electronics.

Gamma Detection and Medical Imaging XGLab, in cooperation with Politecnico di Milano, develops sophisticated Gamma-Ray detection systems. The high-tech expertise of XGLab combined to the state of the art research of the Politecnico di Milano s group results in unique instrumentation. We develop Gamma Cameras for Medical Imaging Applications, based on high performance radiation detectors, insensible to magnetic fields (suitable for integration in magnetic resonance). XGLab takes care of the complete system, from the detection to the software control. Synchrotron and Custom applications XGLab offers its expertise to provide industry with advanced X-Ray detection solutions at very competitive prices. XGLab expertise covers the entire radiation detection chain, from the detector to the user interface. This allows XGLab to offer specific ad-hoc solutions for customers. ELIO - The portable X Ray Fluorescence ELIO is a compact XRF device for in situ analyses. Based on Silicon Drift Detector.
