Wearing protective garb such as a dust mask, non-slip footwear, protective gloves, a helmet and/or hearing protection (depending on the type and application of the electrical device concerned) reduces the risk of injury. X When performing work that generates dust, wear a breathing mask. X Each time you use the blower, check the integrity of the device s power cord and your own extension cord. The device should only be operated when its accessories are in perfect working order. Any damaged or defective components should be repaired immediately by a qualified technician. X Under no circumstances should the blower be operated while you are wearing damaged protective garb, shielding or without basic safely equipment such as a deflection device or collection bag. The electrical outlet is to be protected by an earth leakage circuit breaker (ELCB). with a max triggering current of 30 m Amps. Before Use Steps prior to operation Only operate the device after completely assembling it. Prior to each use, check the power cord for signs of damage. Under no circumstances should the power cord be used if it shows any signs of damage. Assembly Your new blower vacuum requires very little assembly work before it is ready for use. Press the button (11) and slide the suction tube to a suitable length for users. It can work on different lengths. 6

Assembly Attention Before fitting the leaf collection bag ensure that the vacuum/blower selector lever operates smoothly and that it is not obstructed by debris from the previous. Warning Any hard objects, such as stones, tin cans glass etc, will damage the suction fan. Do not use the vacuum-blower to suck up water or very wet debris. Never operate the vacuum-blower without the leaf collection bag fitted. Shoulder Strap: The shoulder strap(8) will be supplied inside the leaf bag. Take the shoulder strap out of the leaf bag, open the snap fastener, thread the strap through the metal clip on the top of the motor casing and then close the snap fastener. To adjust the shoulder strap to the required length, simply slide the adjustable strap buckle forward or backwards. Leaf Collection Bag: Turn the support frame into the correct position of motor housing (7). Lock the support at its place. Press the support to release the bag 7

Operation Ensure that the blower vac is only connected to conventional sockets with a 230-240V alternating current supply. Only use extension cables if they are really necessary. The use of extension cables may cause a drop in voltage, which will result in the machine not performing to its peak or the motor overheating. Switching ON/OFF Press the On/Off switch (9) to start machine. To stop the machine simply release the On/Off switch (9). Use/Operation. The easiest way to use the blower vacuum is to place the shoulder strap in a comfortable position over your shoulder and hold the rear handle at hip height so that the majority of the machine s weight rests on the rollers. When using the blower vacuum to pick up leaves it is best to move the machine on the rollers. This ensures that the blower vacuum is at the perfect height above the ground. The blower vacuum is designed only to pick up leaves. To avoid machine damage that is not covered by the warranty, do not use it to pick up branches, stones or other hard materials. When using the machine as a leaf blower always work away from solid objects such as walls, fences, etc. Whilst you work do not place the blower vacuum tube too close to the leaves. The machine will be more effective if you keep it at a certain distance away from the leaves and blow the leaves forwards. Switching Operating Mode 8

Operation Leaf Bag Note: Before you remove and empty the leaf collection bag ensure that the machine has been disconnected from the mains power supply. Maintenance Check the blower vacuum for any signs of damage before each use After using the machine 1) Empty the leaf collection bag. 2) Check the vacuum tube and remove leaf residue. 3) Check the blower vacuum s slide control for leaf residue 4) Clean the machine with a soft dry cloth. 5) Store the machine in a safe place where it is out of the reach of children. Technical Data Noise Emission Values Level of sound power measured according to EN 60335: LWA (Sound power level) 104 db(a) The machine may exceed 85 db(a) at the workplace In this case, noise protection measures need to be introduced to protect the user. 9
