DIRECTION FOR UE IMPORTANT: This information is approved as part of the Product Label. All instructions within this section must be read carefully in order to obtain safe and successful use of this product. CYCLOP is recommended only for use as a post-emergence treatment in winter wheat and winter barely. CYCLOP is a selective herbicide for the control of a range of annual broadleaved weeds. RETRICTION Extreme care must be taken to avoid spray drift onto plants outside of the target area. To avoid spray drift do not spray in windy or very still conditions. pray drift must be avoided especially near susceptible crops such as sugar beet and oilseed rape. DO NOT treat crops suffering from stress caused by drought, frost, disease or other adverse factors. Ensure that spray swaths do not overlap. WEED CONTROLLED Apply when the weeds are small and actively growing. Weed Weed size up to 1.9 l/ha Chickweed ix leaves 1 Fat hen Four leaves Groundsel Four leaves Pansy, field Four leaves peedwell, ivy-leaved ix leaves Volunteer beans ix leaves Volunteer oilseed rape ix leaves 1 Application to chickweed at larger growth stages will give a significantly reduced level of control. = susceptible. Water volume Apply in 150200 litres of water as a MEDIUM spray (BCPC category). pring application Winter barley Dose 1.9 l/ha. Timing Apply in spring from three leaves unfolded (G 13) until second node detectable (G 32). 3 Nufarm October 2014

Water volume Apply in 150200 litres of water per hectare as a MEDIUM spray (BCPC category). MIXING AND PRAYING This product is for use by professionally qualified spray operatives only. This is a legal requirement. There is also legislation regarding storage, protective clothing and disposal of empty containers. If not professionally qualified always use a qualified contractor to apply this product. Half fill the spray tank with clean water and start the agitation. Pour in the required amount of CYCLOP. Add the remainder of the water and agitation must be maintained throughout the spraying operation. UE IMMEDIATELY following dilution. DO NOT allow diluted product to stand before use. Apply as a medium quality spray (as defined by BCPC). A spray pressure of 23 bar is recommended. FOLLOWING CROP AND CROP FAILURE In the event of a crop failure for any reason, soil treated with CYCLOP can be re drilled immediately with winter wheat, after normal cultivation. Ploughing is not essential. Re drilling may also take place with winter barley, but only after ploughing. Fields must be ploughed and an interval of 12 weeks should elapse between treatment and subsequent planting of the following spring sown crops: spring wheat, spring barley, spring oilseed rape, peas, spring field beans, sugar beet, potatoes, carrots, edible brassicas or onions. Re drilling (before the subsequent autumn) must only take place with listed crops. ubsequent cropping in the normal rotation Where CYCLOP and other products containing diflufenican are applied to successive cereal crops, levels of diflufenican will build up in the soil. Ploughing with complete inversion of the furrow must take place before planting any following non-cereal crop. Even where ploughing is carried out, there may still be a risk of damage to following crops of onions, leek and related species, or clover. As a precaution, users who rent out their land to growers of these crops should not use diflufenican containing products in successive years before renting out the land. ubsequent autumn cropping in the normal rotation: After harvest, soils previously treated with CYCLOP should be ploughed (ensuring complete inversion of the furrow slice) or cultivated to a depth of 15 cm. Thorough mixing of the soil must take place before drilling field beans, leaf Brassicae or winter oilseed rape. For sugar beet seed crops and winter onions the soil must be ploughed ensuring complete inversion of the furrow slice. Avoid excessive compaction. Autumn sown cereals can be drilled as normal. Only drill crops listed above. Occasionally in Brassica crops some seedlings may show slight discoloration on the cotyledons. These effects are quickly outgrown and should not affect subsequent growth. ubsequent spring cropping in the normal rotation: Ploughing must take place before planting any spring crop, other than those where ploughing is not needed in the autumn. COMPATIBILITY When tank mixes are to be used, each product should be added separately to the spray tank, taking due note of any instructions given as to the order of mixing. CYCLOP can be tank-mixed with other pesticides, please consult your distributor. 4 Nufarm October 2014

REITANCE MANAGEMENT When herbicides with the same mode of action are used repeatedly over several years in the same field, selection of resistant biotypes can take place. These can propagate and may become dominating. A weed species is considered to be resistant to a herbicide if it survives a correctly applied treatment at the recommended dose. A strategy for preventing and managing such resistance should be adopted. This should include integrating herbicides with a programme of cultural control measures. Guidelines have been produced by the Weed Resistance Action Group and copies are available from the HGCA, CPA, your distributor, crop adviser or product manufacturer. 5 Nufarm October 2014
