Paradox Insight is the first and only integrated solution of its kind to offer HD video/audio monitoring with superior security capabilities that allows users to see and hear events and protect their home or business anytime, anywhere directly from their smartphones. In case of a security breach, Paradox Insight provides HD videos with high-quality audio of events for visual verification and reporting. Paradox Insight is comprised of three advanced modules: 1. HD77 Camera. HD video (720p) and audio camera that provides unlimited live HD video and audio streaming for monitoring and verification of alarm events. EVOHD TM50 2. EVOHD. A professionally-designed control panel with a powerful processor that fully supports access control, alarms and video and audio verification functions, including an advanced PIR detector with integrated Paradox HD77 camera. HD77s 3. Insight Self-monitoring Application. Allows unlimited real-time view into multiple secured locations, arming/ disarming, recording and viewing live videos, and managing user permissions as well as media files - anytime, anywhere. 2. What are the main benefits of the Paradox Insight solution? } Connection on-demand. Allows users to stay connected to their home or business from a smartphone with on-demand HD video & audio monitoring of multiple zones. } Instant notifications. Receive instant notifications (email alerts) of any alarm or event and manage how to respond in real-time. } Quick and effective response time. VOD capabilities allow the CMS and end user complete visual verification into the events that triggered an alert to determine an appropriate response. This provides police and other emergency responders with live information about the event if needed or helps eliminate false alarms. When alarm is activated, the camera detectors immediately take a series of photos and pre-recorded video of the event, which are sent instantly to the CMS. The CMS operator can immediately decide what triggered the alarm and quickly take appropriate action. } Privacy controls. Set by the master user, privacy is protected by limiting non-master user activities. Master user can decide if each additional user can watch live video (VOD) any time or only 15 minutes after alarm was triggered. In addition, recording only takes place when an alarm is triggered, or when an authorized user implements Record on Demand which is stored within the HD77 device. } Reliability. Battery backup ensures the system is always on in case of mains failure; GSM back up option is available in case of PSTN failure. } Reduce maintenance costs. 4. I want to upgrade my EVO48/EVO192 to support video verification. Can this be done? In order to take full advantage of what the Paradox Insight system has to offer, you must purchase the EVOHD Control panel. For more information visit www.paradox-insight.com. Can I upgrade current Paradox systems to Paradox Insight? No, upgrades from current Paradox solutions are not supported. 6. Does the Paradox Insight HD77 Camera work on any security system platform? Currently, the Paradox Insight HD77 is only supported by the EVOHD Control Panel. 7. How can I order the Paradox Insight system? Alarms Events 12. I want a system that provides alarm verification. Does Paradox Insight provide this function? Yes, Paradox Insight provides you with a video and audio alarm verification. When an alarm is triggered, the HD camera provides video verification for you and the Central Monitoring System (CMS). With an instant view of secured locations, the CMS can distinguish between real and false events. VOD capabilities allow you and the CMS complete visual verification of the events that triggered an alert to determine an appropriate response. This provides police and other emergency responders with live information about the event if needed, eliminate fees due to false dispatch, and helps you to comply with alarm verification regulations and insurance requirements. 13. Can I view live streaming during an event? Yes. Access to your Paradox Insight HD77 is available during an event. You can continue to view live streaming and keep authorities updated as events take place. 14. What kind of information is sent to me during an event? Paradox Insight is the only solution on the market today that gives you an overview of the event from three seconds prior to and into the event, enabling you to get the full picture. When an alarm is triggered, an email is sent to you with a video file of the event and 10fps (JPGs) still photos. 15. How long are the video recordings? The Paradox Insight HD77 s recording is limited to 2 minutes during record on demand to enhance the users privacy. When an alarm goes off or with a trigger, recording is limited to 10 seconds. 16. My CMS requires video verification. Does Paradox Insight provide this feature? Many CMSs require video verification and Paradox Insight provides the ultimate solution to meet these requirements. The CMS receives HD video and audio of the event in addition to 10 JPEGs (still photos), one per second, to verify the alarm. The CMS can immediately decide what triggered the alarm and take fast and appropriate action. This prevents having to pay fees for calls to the CMS that may result as false alarms.
Privacy related FAQs 18. How do I know if someone is watching me? The triangle LED on the Paradox Insight HD77 camera will turn blue when someone is accessing the camera (VOD/ROD). 19. How does the user access a 720p, recorded file? The user sends a request for an HD720p file from the Paradox Insight Mobile App and receives a link valid for 15 minutes so that the user can download the file. 20. Is my privacy protected? Yes, the Paradox HD77 camera respects the user s privacy. All recordings are kept on a memory card that is built into the module. The master user is the only person to decide who will have authorized access and when. 21. How can I make sure no one can access my camera? Master users have complete control over their privacy and can set the system to only send notifications in case of event to those that are pre-defined by them. In addition, privacy is further enhanced by limiting access from the CMS who cannot watch live video streams and only receives video when there is an alarm and for a limited time frame of 15 minutes. In addition, every time someone other than permitted users try to login to your camera and failed, as the master user your will receive email notification and this user will be blocked from accessing your system for the next 15 minutes. www.paradox.com
