Analogue Detectors Series 200 plus
The world s finest manufacturing facility System Sensor s European products are researched, designed and manufactured at our 10,000m 2 state-ofthe-art facility in Trieste, Italy. Quite simply, it s the best of its kind. Advanced technology and manufacturing processes coupled with dedicated staff ensure precision manufacturing and incomparable quality control. And 100% testing ensures that nothing leaves our doors unless it s in perfect working order and capable of providing years of trouble-free protection. We complement this unique offering with a global network of fire systems integration and distribution partners who serve end-users, consulting engineers and specifiers in more than forty countries. All share in our business expertise and, of course, our passion for perfection.
The Intelligent Solution The Series 200 plus harnesses the power of new technology and communications protocol to create an expanded and enhanced range of products, providing wider application opportunities and performance improvements. Key Features Microprocessor based products provide a more intelligent solution Special algorithms provide both a constant sensitivity level between service intervals and eliminate spurious alarms resulting from electrical noise Wider operating temperature range to cope with harsh environments Improved thermal response characteristics provide application flexibility Reduced installation and commissioning costs Reduced maintenance costs Increased product flexibility Additions to product range provide a competitive advantage with a differentiated offering

The unique patented remote test capability fully tests both the optics and the electronics in the device without having to physically access the unit. PHOTO-THERMAL Six different fieldselectable, application specific configurations offer a range of sensitivities. Two settings that allow the sensor to operate in a self-adaptive mode, changing its alarm threshold in response to variations in the ambient conditions. The photo-thermal sensor is an environmentally safe replacement for ionisation detectors, responding rapidly to fast flaming fires without the problems of transportation, storage and end of life disposal of radioactive material. PHOTOELECTRIC The stability and performance of the photoelectric smoke detector has been significantly improved through the use of microprocessor technology. Special Drift Compensation and Smoothing algorithms automatically compensate for the build up of contaminants and short-term environmental noise effects. THERMAL Thermal Sensors, available as Rate-of- Rise or fixed temperature 58 C or 78 C sensors provide improved performance and increased application flexibility. PINNACLE LASER Using a laser instead of an IR LED as the light source, makes it 100 times more sensitive than a typical photoelectric detector. Pinnacle is designed for use in manufacturing clean rooms, telecoms facilities, hospitals, data centres, computer suites, control rooms and other high value environments.
Drift Compensation and Smoothing eliminate nuisance alarms and provide a consistent progressive alarm sensitivity threshold throughout the period between service intervals. In many instances this will result in an improved economic performance through savings in the cost of maintenance by extending the detector cleaning interval. Intelligent sensors incorporate enhanced digital signal processing, eliminating spurious peaks.
